I think that is the most obvious one. I guess we will see how much that means to them.
My whole thing is Levy has already pissed away his value, he should just take the €10mil and be happy. Imo.
Levy's thing is not your thing.
PSG is willing to give us more money but I don't think Eriksen is keen on them. Not sure how to leverage their interest into making Inter budge.
You are an Arsenal fan, no? Why do you care? He is going to try to get the most he can for him. As far as pissing it away. Hard to look at it that way. Should they have sold him before they made the CL Finals?
Just being a fan of the sport. I find transfer stories as interesting as the actual matches sometimes.
Who tf is this guy?
I remember buying him on FM once.
Not sure we can actually take anyone else foreign born in unless Eriksen leaves
It’s official. 18 month loan.
January arrivals I can remember ranked
1. Lucas Moura
2. Wilson Palacios
3. Lewis Holtby (for enthusiasm not play)
4. Steven Pienaar
5. Eidur Godjohansen
6. Edson Fernandes
1349120481924812 (Tied). Louis Saha, Ryan Nelson, Bongani Khumalo
Son was in August brah
Hmm, not sure why it felt like Winter. Did we not use him the first few months or so? Well, Aurier! LOL
*also an august signing iirc
Wow. my memory is awful. Not sure why I connect both with Winter.
OK, I got one! Dele
I thought we brought in someone with Lucas, but I can't remember who it was.... Llorente maybe?
edit: no, wrong
were all winter.
I can't find when Kane was signed to our academy as a chubby little preteen, but I'll bet it was the winter.
I’m pretty excited I get to go to your stadium when you guys play Everton in April. The place looks fucking awesome on tv.
Reports from Alfredo Pedulla, not sure of tier, that Inter have gone up to 15m+3m in bonuses for Eriksen. Further from Gazzetta dello Sport that we agreed to such a figure. Fair enough for me.
Hugo is a sight for sore eyes. Gazza has been dreadful.
I think he's done well given the situation, was never on the squad to start all these big games. I know Hugo adds a voice to the field too though, that's where I feel we've been missing him most
The thing about Gazza that gets me is how many times he just watches the ball go in goal, which to me is a sign of lack of anticipation. He just doesn't read the game like Hugo does. He may be as good a shot stopper when he reads the ball, but he reads way fewer.
Yeah his shot anticipation definitely isn't on Hugo's level but his reactions and ability to stop shots at close range has been. He's made several point blank saves that have kept us in games. Only to later give up a goal, but those aren't all really his fault, at least not directly. I.e. the Liverpool game
Yes, and he has hands of stone.
His positioning is stunningly poor at times. This is a pretty good breakdown of all his goals allowed from Reddit.
Yes, I didn't have to think or analyze too much to have that opinion. His positioning and instincts are poor. It is understandable as I have always been told that the reason keepers get better with age is from so much repetition and adjusting their positioning over time. regardless, he is a bad solution for us right now.
So not even a review for handball there?
Oliver is the fucking worst
Let the record show that our XI are: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen (C), Tanganga (ON THE LEFT, SO VERSATILE), Winks, Lo Celso, Dele, Lamela, Son, Lucas.
Gedson makes the bench alongside Eriksen, Dier, Sess, so on.
That was a handball,for,sure.
Sloppy weird shit from Aurier. Made a poor decision to cut back when he knew the man was on his back, then two footed leaving your feet slide. As much as he got the ball rather than the man, it's just not particularly advisable.
Bad Winks turnover there
At first I was like sure foul on Tanganga but after watching the replay he didn’t initiate the contact.
It was an accidental slip. A foul, but the card was ridiculous.
Eh, I'm just happy we weren't the first ones to have the ref go to the monitor to check for a possible red, I didn't see if he was last man back or anything.
Winks does nothing
That is a red card
Holy fucking shit VAR is an absolute sham
He was grabbed first to create separation
I don’t have volume on. What happened? That is a sure red.
Can we just all agree to scrap VAR for the rest of the game and get the game going?
No red. Just a technical issue with VAR.
