You'll be guaranteed to support a team that is always in the Premier League, so you have that going for you Baron .
Really good, and lengthy, Dele interview. http://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/featu...ootball-not-getting-wound-up-as-easily-459404
Michael Oliver will be the man in the middle for the NLD this weekend. This should be good news as Arsenal tend to play like shit when he is in charge. 3 wins in 17 matches. Mike Dean must have been booked already. http://www.football.london/tottenha...eferee-announced-tottenham-v-arsenal-12938447
If those are them I can't complain. Anything is better than our yellows this year. The blue and the white are as good as it gets. The purple will hopefully grow on me and look better on.
I'm still so fucking bummed from Saturday. Hopefully we come out firing today, but I really don't have any idea of what to expect. I'm also preparing myself for a terrible summer of rumors around the squad, but hopefully it'll be just rumors.
I can't go there yet. I am hoping this year is different with the nucleus in place and the stadium coming. I am prepared to see a couple of players leave... Lamela and maybe one of Walker or Rose. Maybe Son. Would be devastated if Alderweireld, Kane, or Alli made the move.
Toby and Eriksen seem to be the most likely, with Walker not too far behind. I'd give anything to have this team stick together through at least the opening season of the new stadium, but it's going to be tough. We HAVE to start winning trophies, even if it's the fucking League Cup. Playing an entire season in Wembley, missing UCL, and losing the core before moving is an absolute nightmare.
Teams can offer double or triple the wages we can, and Levy will have all of the bargaining power given current contracts. Other than Carrick and Berba, we've never done much selling domestically and I expect that to continue. If City or United really want them, they're going to have to break the bank. It's going to suck. At least we aren't having to play there for multiple years like Chelsea will though.
Playing at Wembley will absolutely suck next year and if we won't improve our form there it's going to cost us another champions league spot. I don't expect any of our starters to be sold this offseason though with all of them signed for multiple more years and champions league again next season. A bad 17/18 league performance could definitely lead to some guys leaving though. With the new stadium coming online it's time for Levy to stop treating the team like a mid table one and pay our stars what they're worth. Developing stars from youth helps keep their wages down for a certain period of time but if we want to be considered a top 4 team in England then we need to pay like one. They shouldn't be paying outrageous wages to players who don't deserve it but no way should any of our best players (Toby, Harry, Dele, Eriksen, Hugo) not be paid like top players in the league.
I think most of the team will stay for at least the first season at the new stadium, even if we are shit at Wembley next season. Hopefully they become more accustomed to the larger pitch and different atmosphere by playing it every week. As for today, Sam mentioned he will need to rotate the squad pretty heavily so am hoping for a disjointed Palace side. They are on fire lately. Hopefully the team bounces back. We didn't exactly play a poor game against Chelsea, they just took advantage of about every single opportunity they had in front of goal.
Not sure those kit leaks can be right, though they are a nice design. Nike teased our kits with kind of a retro badge that doesn't appear on those.
I'm becoming less certain of a second Player of the Month for Sonny. He came out of the gates on fire, but Benteke has turned it up and they're now even I think on goals for the month. Son sits, Benteke starts... Time to think about selling off my FIFA investments.
I know he made the bench, but I don't think Davies was available except in an absolute emergency scenario. Walker for sure should have been starting, though.
If you're alluding to fatigue, then Davies should have sat against Bournemouth so he was fresh for Chelsea.
God there's no chance I get the work done that I need to by 5:30 with this game going on. Unless we sew it up early, right?
Yeah every possession starts deep, goes backwards towards the backline, and only after a speculative piercing pass by Dier to Dele (whose first touch is failing him) do we cross the halfway line.
We are on the road vs. the 2nd form team in the league over the past 8 matches, it isn't going to be easy. Take it even into the half and score after the break, we've been good late in games during league play.
