Sunderland defended their asses off, going all the way up there after playing Saturday was going to be an ask. I can't slate this team even though the result is so fucking infuriating.
they definitely defended well, but our link between defense and midfield/attack was pure trash. losing danny only made that worse.
It is a shit result, but Sunderland have frustrated some good teams this season. It was very poor from us, the service in the final third was terrible and there was some sloppy defending especially in the first half. Just looked a bit leggy out there, having to use some of our studs to close out fucking Wycombe didn't do us any favors. Need all 3 against Middlesbrough. Silver lining is we move ahead of Arsenal in the table.
Typical Spursing, nothing more, nothing less. Rodwell had absolutely no business staying on the pitch, but of course Mason (who was right there) blew the call. Par for the course as far as officiating goes.
Arsenal at Chelsea this weekend, a win for us will mean points gained on one or both of them. I'm leaning towards 3 points gained on Arsenal.
It's going to be tough to catch Chelsea but I still want to shoot for the title, so I will just cheer for Team Asteroid.

This game is enormous, especially with results around the league this morning. If we can't manage 3 points with everything that is on the line then we should be ashamed.
There are going to be just as many chances in the second half, if not more. We just have to convert and not get caught by a Traore breakaway.
