Was there ever an explanation for why you sold Chadli? I always liked him as really good depth. Just seems like the type of player you need to compete in multiple competitions.
It seemed like he wanted first team football and was behind Son/Lamela/Eriksen/Alli for playing time in our attack. We basically used the money from his sale to bring in a younger player at the same position (N'Koudou). With Lamela going down he would have gotten some game time probably but we were lucky enough that the other three stayed healthy all season. I always rated Chadli though, he had a knack for scoring goals when he'd come on. I am hoping N'Koudou makes a big 2nd year leap like others have done under Poch in the past, most recently Son. He has shown flashes.

He's a stud and would be a great signing for anyone. Apparently sissoko wants to leave because of the World Cup next year and he wants to make the team. If you guys don't see him playing a lot I think it would make sense to loan him to Newcastle for the year and let him drive his price back up a bit and sell next summer. Last part is pure speculation on my part.

Supposedly a screen shot from a sneak peak at the new Pro Evolution Soccer game, would jizz if accurate. From the retro inspired crest to the blue AIA font matching the kit. That is what makes me skeptical, but having the new crest gives me a little hope.
