I mean I’ll take the point of course but we didn’t deserve it. Outside the one corner we were shit in the second half. Did Kane even touch the ball in our attacking third?
Spontaneous Cumbustion i hope you didn’t turn off the game. :) Scratch that. I see you are here still.
Sterling did nothing in the second half. KWP was great especially when the ball was on his side of the field. Needs to work on protecting the back post from the runner.
I thought Davinson was wonderful today. KWP fell a bit asleep on their 2nd, but all around played well.
Of all the teams for it to happen to again. Unbelievable. I don’t care how it happened; I’ll take a point at the Ethiad very time.
I love that the argument is “I don’t like the rule.” VAR did absolutely nothing wrong, so nobody should make it about VAR. the rules are the rules. Just because a team feels like it deserves a result doesn’t mean they should get it. How many times were we the better team for most of the game last year and we gave away points? That’s the game.
Omg, Lee Dixon is arguing that it’s bad because City fans walked out after it happened. What an awesome argument.
I’m gonna order my new kit custom made with “VAR” on the back. I turned it off after the goal and a buddy texted me “var.” COYS
It’s a stupid rule that hopefully they get rid of after this season. But for now it is a rule and they applied it correctly.
I disagree. I think it is a really good rule. The chance was created by an arm. it shouldn't happen. I know we benefitted last year on Llorente's goal, but I still think if a hand ball intentional or not leads to a goal it shouldn't happen. I guess the only caveat I would make is that if the play starts in your end by a hand, I think they need to let it go if it wasn't called.
The new rule is specific to the Premier League and wouldn't have any bearing on a goal scored in the Champions League. Spoiler Fuck City. Congrats on the point.
You’re not allowed to use your hands or arms in soccer. I’ve known this since I was a child. No problem with the rule imo
I know I mentioned it earlier but I am not sure that is true. I think the angles they looked at didn’t show it hitting his elbow. Had it hit his elbow and they thought it did they would have ruled it out under last years rules also:

Yes, we also loaned out those kid Georgiuo and Jack Roles. Georgiuo has featured in preseason for like three years now. You never hear about him as someone who can make the Senior squad. I wonder why we have held him for so long.
