Only 30+ months to go!!!
I'm all out of tears though
Child enjoys toysToys enjoy child
Child grows up
Toys chase child
Toys meet other toys
Toys find child
Child remembers toys
At least a couple of us will probably be dead by the time this comes out.
Really makes you think.
Probably you, dude. Maybe that ex comes back for her furniture and you're sleeping on it, unguarded.
my kids will be too old to enjoy it
Won't stop you!
Yeah it will!
no it won't
nobody cares about Bo Peep challenging the patriarchy I guess
Came to post about how little I care lol
I care so much that I don't care
I just want to know how a porcelain toy changes clothes.
Of all the stuff that happens in the series, that’s what you’re questioning?
how the fuck a toy change its clothes
That song choice
Toy Story 5: Bonnie plays on her iPad 6 hours a day and the toys spend 14 years in a storage bin in the basement.
Certified Fresh at 98% on RT
iirc, this is the highest rated franchise on RT
Don't expect that to change.
seeing it Sunday
Never seen any of the Toy Story's
Are they still going to be enjoyable?
to a point. But the emotional connection to the first 3 movies makes it so much better
I meant if I go and start with the first and work my way through, will i still find them enjoyable? Or would I have had to see them as a kid to have an appreciation for them now?
You'll still enjoy them. You just won't be reduced to emotional rubble at certain points the way people who grew up with the franchise were.
Yes they’re awesome
i mean, Toy Story is one of the best movies of the 90s. And easily one of the most groundbreaking ever. changed cartoon/animated movies forever.
I really wanna visit toy story at hollywood studios in disney
ehhh. I think you can still get chocked up assuming you can make the connection from Woody to your favorite childhood toy.
not in the same way. but like I said, it'd still be enjoyable
I mean, the first one is 81 minutes long. What else are you doing with an hour and a half?
There's this existential undertone in 3 that hits people no matter when they see the movie, I think.
it absolutely crushed me. It's almost like my mind substituted my childhood toys in for woody and co.
I'll see this for sure, but...
They should have stopped at 3. Maybe it's my age but I grew up with those and saw 3 in college and it all just got with my growing up timeframe. That ending was masterful and they should have let it go there.
Bringing my daughter Sunday, I'm more excited than she is
Several of the reviewers entered with this premise and left feeling the opposite.
we said the exact same thing when they did 3. I'm going to give Toy Story absolute faith until they prove otherwise.
Well good. I don't like to read reviews prior due to past incidents of spoilers but I'm still excited to see it despite feeling the way I do. If one company can make me feel all warm and fuzzy it's Pixar.
Wrong, I saw it and felt nothing. I'm not a total pussy though
Just saw it. Don’t open this unless you’ve seen it.
Woody leaving the gang (and Bonnie) for fucking Bo and this crew of rejects was an affront to the entire franchise and the fans who have been with them the last 24 years. The rest of the movie was great, but the ending did a disservice to the whole series. TS3 was the perfect way to end it, and they had to do this.
Do you ever feel tired of being wrong all of the time?
Movie was great. Ending was an abomination.
I haven’t seen it yet. Where would you rank 4?
Saw it today. Sets up for #5. Take my money.
I agree. They 100% should have stopped with 3. I may be biased because I felt that way going in, but this one just didn't feel like it meshed with the others, but it was good.
1, 3, 4, 2
Also proud of myself for finding the pizza planet truck cameo
