Lacanfora is the biggest fake news asshole coveting the NFL today. Most of what he says is completely fabricated or a false narrative he’s pushing for someone else’s agenda.
His cocksucking ass will find a way to fuck the Browns locker room up next year because he’s a cocksucking ass.
You've mentioned draft capital a few times. Am I missing something? Everything I've seen shows they just have all of their picks. It's not like they are the Raiders with 2 extra 1sts and 2 extra 5tha laying around.
Having the first pick in each round is substantially better, in terms of pure value, than having a couple extra picks... but I suppose that term is maybe not correct? Basically, it's a loaded deck to play with, should be able to maximize it with trade downs or premier talent. Should, but Keim is a drunk ass that has no concept of value
The Steelers need to punish him and send him to a hopeless franchise like the one in Cleveland. That will show him.
You guys can’t play the hopeless card anymore. You’re not even the most hopeless team in the North (looking at you Cincy)
Add on there’s probably a 20-30% chance Ben retires and the Steelers are about out of their SB window.
I love that scene but it’s racist to have Mike Tomlin as Romany Malco’s character and Ben as Carrell’s.
Antonio Brown dressed as a hippo while singing Bobby Brown was the least cringeworthy thing about that video
Hey let me rewind this and put on my AB jersey and then you record me saying I’m going to kill myself. Those dipshits at Barstool will totally put me on the internet. - That Guy
If they can get a first and something else for him like Rap is saying they’re asking for, I’d trade him. He’s unbelievable, and the cap hit next year blows, but doubtful this gets much better, he’s getting older, and at some point soon we’re going to be looking at some sort of a rebuild and picks help.
I have no idea how La Canfora is with other teams but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him right about the dolphins. No idea how he has a job
10-12 years ago he was great for ravens news. He lives in the Baltimore suburbs. He seemed to like breaking news and the attention it brought and when he didn’t have something he would just break fake news. Been wrong so often but still puts out ridiculous shit like this brown trade news and the Tom coughlin wants to be jags head coach next year bullshit.
Peter king also said that Darren sharpers multiple rapes wouldn't change how he voted for him because it only matters what happens on the field. He's very smart and consistent
Yea I get annoyed at that. If you view the league as a company and teams as departments, it's no different than any other corporation. Employees can apply to change departments within my company and it may or may not be approved. Some departments make more than others. Some have better hours. Some locations are better. Some are more employee friendly. If they tell me I have to work in department X in city Y, I take it or I look to work for another company. NFL players have more leverage than that bc after 4-5 years in the company they get to pick the department they get to work for.
I think the main weakness of that argument is that an overwhelming majority of people can just leave the company and go to a new one. Even more true If you are willing to relocate. That said, the main reason the Steelers probably don’t want to trade him is because of the large amount of guranteed money they paid him in his most recent contract. That contract was designed to get him more money up front and the team agreed to limit their own flexibility. You can’t have it both ways.
He can go to another company when his contract expires. XFL is hiring. CFL is hiring. I have a non-compete contract with my company. When it expires, I'm free to go to another company. It probably wont pay as much but I have the choice. He does too.
I understand who I’m arguing with so I’m not sure why I’m bothering but there are very few jobs where you can make $22 million a year and then have only 2 others companies you can work for that pay $100k for the same job. Soccer you truly do have other options. An MLS player of browns quality can move to 10-20 countries and leagues and make really good money. Even basketball there are a couple of options to at least make good money. With football there really isn’t. That said I couldn’t give 2 fucks if Antonio brown is unhappy and feels like his boss favors another coworker of his over him. You make $22 million a year playing football and were 3rd in the league in targets.
The pay difference isn't as drastic, but if I got sick and tired of my company, I could make about 1/3 of what I make now. As an employee, I just have to suck it up if I want the income that only my company is willing to pay me.
You are worth 1/3 of what you make on the market? Christ man, what do you do? I do this type of thing for a living, and I’ve never heard of such a disparity between earnings and market value.
Mortgage sales. My company opened an office here and offered a killer comp plan for top producers to recruit the best away from other companies in town. 1/3 may have been an exaggeration. I could probably make 1/2 somewhere else.
