Wednesday is my therapy day. I have an older black therapist and man representation matters. He’s been awesome and we can talk about this stuff honestly.
Thank the lord we are not wasting tax payers money anymore. https://www.reuters.com/business/he...-into-vaccines-autism-sources-say-2025-03-07/
He appears to be taking the Kamal strategy and aligning himself with horrendous right wing people hoping to come off as less extreme....bc the only way a Dem can win is they punch right
Walz was the perfect midwestern Dem for VP. He was pretty mid on the debate stage and I don't think he'd show well in primaries and national Pres debates Pass
he admitted to he was too nice in a interview recently, he expected Vance to come out swinging and Vance played nice instead and it threw him off
Part of me wants to chalk that up to some inexperience, but he's been in politics for 2 decades. Shouldn't have been his first rodeo. I can't imagine the ignorance to think fat face Vance was going to "nice" and not the pure piece of shit he's shown.
Hasan described him perfectly when he said he was great with the things he's passionate about but bad at being phony.
I like Pete but I don't think he has a shot at potus, would love to see him in the Senate. Pete Buttigieg is expected to forgo a run for Michigan’s open US Senate seat in 2026, according to two people familiar with the former transportation secretary’s plans, setting up a potential presidential bid in 2028. Buttigieg was calling fellow Michigan Democrats on Thursday morning to tell them of his decision. He is expected to publicly announce his decision later Thursday. Following the retirement announcement by Democratic Sen. Gary Peters in late January, an adviser to Buttigieg told CNN he was taking a “serious look” at a Senate campaign. Buttigieg previously ruled out running for governor of Michigan next year, a source familiar with this thinking told CNN last month. The state’s Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is term-limited from running again and is also seen as a potential 2028 contender. Politico was first to report Buttigieg’s expected decision not to seek the US Senate seat.
As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law: “It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.
Irony: DBL getting called out for being lazy and asking for something that was answered one post above his. DBL a few moments later calling out WED for not doing the extra work of creating an account to read something.
Fox News this morning (yes I like to see what they are saying, I find it interesting), desperate to spin the financials : Egg prices are down , inflation is cooling, market was better yesterday! 8:59AM CST, checks stock app on phone, everything red. Check the internet: "US stocks were set for a pullback on Thursday as economic concerns grew amid President Trump's trade offensive and a looming US government shutdown, while a new inflation report provided fresh evidence of cooling price pressures. The S&P 500 (^GSPC) dropped 0.5%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) shed 0.9%, on the heels of a rebound for both gauges. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) nudged 0.2% lower."
Jesus Christ. Glad we can let our states be a petri dish and women can see first hand how much the GOP hates them
There are some great LBJ stories out there if you care to look. Also a great Robert Caro biography series. Maybe the best ever.
He’s gonna have to take a trip to turkey for a bit because he’s got problems up top that are disqualifying from the office.
