Will be interested to watch this because I don't really know what the point of it is. Is it a critique on American foreign policy? Is it to say war is fucked up? Because I think a lot of people already know this. I think all thats going to come out of this documentary is a bunch of soldiers are going to get embarrassed or have their careers get fucked up.
This is super interesting to me.I give him credit for acknowledging mistakes, not the best of the best, and the drugs. It's become sacrilegious to constructively criticize the capability of our forces, but these are real people who have real issues and shit is going to happen.
From a strategic perspective even in that clip he demonstrated that the goals of the mission are not being communicated to the troops, which is a big issue. Now I don't know if that is because the troops are incapable of understanding the mission, if his group just has poor leadership or capability, or if it is a widespread issue, but lots of red flags in that one video, and pretty easy to draw some obvious conclusions if what he is saying regarding the quality of those enlisting is accurate. people make mistakes. Unequipped people make more mistakes.
It's going to be fun watching Trump take the positive and the negative on this one. Ha, Obama...but still witch hunt.
I hope he loses his entire revenue stream. He’s too god damn stupid to make his accumulated millions last the rest of his life. He’s dodged way too many scandals already and he can’t continue to outrun the bad press. Again, fuck pewdiepie. He’s a racist shitbag deserving of none of the fame or fortune.
Thats another problem I have, he's just straight up defaming people. Like the US military used to be full of rocket scientists but now people do drugs!!!! In World War 2 14-15-16 year olds were lying about their age and enlisting. Saying they're letting people in with a criminal record without any other qualifiers is a really shitty thing to do.
What kind of a fucking name is Greg Craig? I'd probably commit crimes too if that was my stupid name.
Rumor has it Beto dumped 4.5 million left over from his Senate campaign to the TX state party who gave it back to him for his Presidential campaign. That makes his 24hr haul around 1.6 million, in line with every candidate not named Sanders. Pretty smooth way to get publicity, but he has to realize everything he does he going to put under a microscope now. No way to know for sure til the reports come out.
Really don't want to be a liberal that eats their young, but can someone please tell me a reason policy wise to be excited about Beto? Uniting the country as a platform doesnt do it for me. He lost, although, closely, to like the most hated GOP republican Senator in a while with a huge warchest. He seems like the type that will have the same running for president against the most hated sitting president. Just too many eerily similar details to Hillary.
I suspect he has strategically decided to not put his foot down and say these are the exact policies that I support with so much runway left in the race. He is going the personality/uniter direction with the idea that the party will be pushing in a direction that most of us can get behind and move in the right direction i think it makes some sense so far ahead of the election because he won't be subjected to people bashing him NOW about a specific stance on one issue. Not sure if it will work or not long term, but it is an interesting strategy.
He lost a state wide election in texas. A state while trending blue is still very red and has basically R’s at every state wide position. Hell he helped a bunch of dems win in areas that are traditionally red.
That was the home stretch. My guess is sit back and be the charismatic personality and adapt your positions to those that are resonating best.
and that might win, I don't know, but he's going to have to navigate some troubled waters to get to the general. 1. Already the centrist feminists wing of the party (whose reach is not to be underestimated) have the knives out for him (he's going to immediately fight for votes and $$$ with Kam Harris) 2. Where he gets funding from will be under close scrutiny from the Left of the party (Bernie, Warren, etc.) 3. Biden
I understand that. Just concerned he is some over lobbied and funded option that really won't energize anyone like Bernie or Warren because he doesn't actually take a position or have a platform plan to debate on.
Beto would be much better utilized rallying and better organizing the Texas Dems instead of running for prez
