Isn’t suppose to, or can’t? goes back to my main questions, is Barr investigating because he has too, wants too, or is inept?
ive taken enough to know that there are checks and balances, and then there are “checks and balances” there is what is morally right, and legally right.
remember when the right wing media flipped the fuck out because bill clinton talked to loretta lynch on a tarmac?
you’re just being a fucking idiot now, the potus asking the ag to investigate a political opponent is both illegal and immoral. The fact that you think the ag is the potus’s lawyer should have given away how fucking stupid or ignorant you are.
can you point me in the right direction of this information? Because right now I see an AG doing things he’s not suppose to, and no one is stopping him.
you’re right normally this administration follows the rule of law to a T because they have people to hold them accountable so the fact that they’ve appeared to have gone rogue is strange
I’m sure you thought this was something more than inane dribble but I have no idea what you’re trying to imply. You’re being a fucking idiot that’s not my fault. Stop being stupid.
it’s a violation of campaign finance law and laws regarding political activities by the Executive branch to use taxpayer resources to investigate a person for political purposes. The fact that no one is doing anything about it might be a reflection of the fact that of the two authorities empowered to investigate such violations of law, one is led by the person responsible for these violations and the other doesn’t have the commissioners necessary to form a quorum to take action because the President has declined to nominate anyone to fill empty commissioner seats.
idk friend I haven’t asked him but if he’s anything like the rest of you GOP shitbirds I’d venture to guess that he’s complicit and/or a terrible person with no respect for the law
Let’s separate Biden/Ukraine from the 2016 election, if that’s even possible. But wouldn’t the 2016 election interference be within the purview of the DOJ and by direction of Trump? Even if it’s done for bullshit reasons and chasing down Alex Jones level conspiracies?
if I asked “is slavery justifiable?” would you automatically think I was pro slavery? Is anything I’m asking really leading people to believe that I am pro trump/Barr?
You have to have some reason to launch an investigation. You don’t just get to turn the Justice Department on people for no reason. There’s no legitimate reason to believe Ukraine and the DNC worked together to frame the Russians. Investigating that is a corrupt abuse of power that serves only to advance Trump and the GOP’s political interests
Because no reasonable person would ask that. And because you’re the same shitstain who thinks it’s funny to type things like democRATS. Either way you’re being highly obnoxious.
historical context, but I could say that prisoners working for the state/government is a form of slavery
you could say that because progressives have been saying that for literally decades you’re doing the equivalent of “I’m not racist, but...” talking points and it’s either disingenuous or stupid or bigoted
That doesn't mean it's not illegal and immoral, you fucking disingenuous imbecile. That just means the forefathers weren't omniscient 230 years ago. Shocking, I know.
Yes, or in other words, I think it’s fairly transparent that the purpose of Trump’s ask is to discredit the investigation into his own conduct, and not any bonafide intent to discover the truth behind who hacked the DNC server, since we already know (and I think indicted, but don’t remember) the culpable party.
