Does anyone remember how fucking cool Barry was with whoever was in the room? God dammit I hate 2017.
Possible? Of course. That said, I'm not willing to buy into something like this yet and start questioning the credibility of women that come forward without damn good evidence.
me neither, but i hadn't thought of that angle and i certainly wouldn't put anything past this group of horrendously shitty people.
I hope they think they can relax because obviously muellers investigation only moves when people talk about it
Pretty unbelievable how Republicans are turning predators into demigods. Quickly escalated to a founding father? I mean...I guess it's just fully embracing the Trump level of crazy
Hey remember when all of your hipster Libertarian Facebook friends wouldn't shut the fuck up about how terrible 2016 was because a bunch of celebrities they never talked about or thought about in years were dying?
being a sexual predator is wrong but Republicans need to control the Senate so I don't care this is where Republicans are right now, they've vilified Democrats so fully pedophiles in office are better than Democrats
I don't. It's extremely understandable that someone would be terrified of some psychopath on bus who, given that this is america, could have a gun or a knife in either pocket.
I can’t wait for these shitbag evangelists like Billy Graham to start dying. I hope it sends Franklin into a tailspin.
I flew from Atlanta to LA yesterday on Delta. I've got the lowest level of status on Delta - I requested a "Comfort Plus" upgrade and forgot that they will put you in a Comfort Plus middle seat, and call it an upgrade over an aisle/window in normal economy. That's exactly what happened to me, I lost my aisle seat in row 17 for a middle seat in row 14. I was obviously pissed off, but the whole time thought of the same thing happening to Carter Page in his big ass bucket hat and him being extremely proud of his middle seat upgrade. "Well, well, well, look who has it made now..."
I think it was revered cultural anthropologist Billy Joel who noted “only the good die young”... iirc.
I want to stay informed about what's going on, but the more news I read, the more I just want to grab a bottle of whiskey and curl up in the fetal position. This administration will most likely go down as one of the worst cases of regulatory capture in modern history. It sucks that sexual assault allegations are taking all the headlines, because we are being fucking railroaded and the average person is not paying attention. Today The FCC decided to repeal long standing rules regulating media mergers, and companies being able to own both newspapers and news channels in a single media market. By also getting rid of the rule stipulating the number of radio stations, newspapers, and TV stations one company can own, we can all look forward to getting our news and radio from a handful of media titans. They are literally allowing the monopolization of the news, which is inherently dangerous to a functioning democracy. Don't forget they are on pace to destroy the internet as we know it. With a net neutrality repeal, and the loss of H-1B visas, the tech industry is gonna get hit hard. What Pai and the FCC are doing right now will set us back decades. I don't even know where to start with Pruitt. The EPA is almost scarier because Pruitt's shrouding his actions as much as he can. He recently changed the SCC (Social Cost of Carbon) number from $47 to $1-6, that way the 11 trillion dollars worth of benefits calculated from environmental regulations in economic assessment reports can be downgraded. Lower the amount, you can do away with more regulations citing a lower monetary amount for the benefits associated with them. It's actually an ingeniously diabolical way to get around potential lawsuits stemming from potential de-regulation. If you care about the environment and hate Scott Pruitt, I would suggest signing up for The Sierra Club if you haven't already done so. https://www.sierraclub.org/ways-to-give
