I mean he could. He could also just ignore their rulings and publicly declare them invalid. He could nominate more justices. He won’t because he feels maintaining normal and pretending the current courts opinions are valid and legally binding is “right.” When all it does is advance Donald Trump’s agenda. The Court has invalidated itself. But our president pretends otherwise. He doesn’t need to accept this reality.

I've no doubt that throwing Fauci in jail and being anti-vaccine is going to be very popular in a republican primary. But I know plenty of Trump voters who believe in vaccines. And outside a republican primary voters, this all seems fucking nuts. Trump would've won if he hadn't listened to those vaccine nut jobs. But now I guess DeSantis's lane is going to be running against vaccines and mask mandates that no longer exist.
Trump is pro vaccine. It was his Operation Warp Speed that helped get the vaccine out and he’s been pro-vaccine at al his rallies. He knows the anti-vax crowd will still vote for him regardless. DeSantis will have to run as completely anti-Trump/vaccine but that’s not going to help him win. They worship Trump
If the Dems had anything resembling the gop’s attack dogs we’d get daily segments about the parental failures of Trump diehards in Appalachia whose children od’ed while painting the Biden family support for Hunter as to why he’s still around.
