In my 50s and super involved but Ive never answered a poll. How do they even find these people? Do people answer random numbers they don’t know.

I answer most calls because of my job. I’ve had a couple legitimate polls call but I’ve also had some where the first question was something similar to “democrats want to take your guns and wreck the economy. Would you say you support this? Answer on a scale between 1 and 10. 10 being strongly agree and 1 being strongly disagree”

 

Despite having spent one weekend in Dallas in my entire life I used to get all sorts of Texas Political surveys and calls. One said something like “Beto wants to take your AR-15, can we tell him he can only take it from your cold dead hands?”

 

I get these republican party survey mailer things every once in a while addressed to someone who used to live in my house. I will have to take a pic next time I get one, they read like culture war mad libs. questions like 'are you worried that the marxist biden crime family is teaching your children about crt and woke mind virus?' pls complete this survey and send money so nancy pelosi will not spend your tax dollars on sexual reassignment and homosexual forced marriages

 

Same. Got a call a few weeks ago and answered these types of questions about the upcoming Ohio ballot issues on marijuana and abortion

 

I usually write "fuck off" or something similar and send them back.
