It's a horrific story with little background known, especially before today. Then let's juxtapose thst with a black kid being lynched in South Georgia by 3 white men and was subsequently covered up by multiple district attorneys.... That stored took 6 weeks to get national attention. It's just fucking ignorant and racist
The Mitt Romney wing (Republican governors of democratic states that are popular because they try and do popular things incrementally) of the party is dead on a national level. But I find Romney useful because the Chuck Todd’s of the world won’t be afraid to criticize something if it is “bipartisan.”

People completely misunderstanding the entire reason for BLM and the entire reason for the movement is driving me fucking insane.
People are saying “JUSTICE FOR CANNON! Should we protest? If he was black, there would be riots. George Floyd was a career criminal and you lost your minds...this was a 5 year old!” if you’re comparing the outrage over Floyd’s death and the lack of national outrage of a little boy’s murder, which included the immediate arrest of his murderer who will never be free again....you’re too stupid and racist to be told they’re different situations.
A lot of the time I can’t tell if people genuinely don’t understand the difference in violence sanctioned and executed by the state, or if the are just pretending. Doesn’t matter in the end, but I’m curious.
