Put pressure on vulnerable republicans to vote for it. Close enough to an election and it's a widespread issue
So we got one. And him coming out against Trump would be the surprise? are senators referred to as congressman? I’ve always been unsure of this.
It is either him or somebody like Fred Upton who is in a tight fight in a state where Trump is 10 points down.
I was thinking it was referring to the house. But Romney would seem the most likely out of both chambers
I understand they’re both houses of congress, but you typically see senators referred to as senator and not congressman.
It’s either Romney, which I highly doubt, or an outgoing representative. It’s not going to really be of consequence
This is the type of discussion we used to be good at before the government started trying to kill everyone
I don't think there was mention of it being a surprise. Technically the house and senate make up congress, but senator/congress(gender) usually is a distinction by house. So I could be wrong
Mitt voted for impeachment and has already come out against what he's doing with the post office. I wouldn't be shocked if Mitt doesn't support Biden, at the very least not support Trump
He still has to play within the caucus. He’s in no way endorsing trump but I’m not seeing him actually endorsing Biden
There's no way he is referring to Romney with "congressman" unless he's being intentionally deceiving.
He can easily endorse Biden and pretend like hes a new type of republican. utah voted pretty heavy for mcmuffin last time around
he’s going to grow up to be as big of a piece of shit as his older brothers. I’d never personally attack him, but I will never feel bad for him.
I don't know. Once Trump is out-of office and Milenia takes him away, there's a chance. It appears Tiffany isn't a grade a cunt and they obviously don't have a relationship.
The tweet didn’t say “surprise”. It only said “prominent”. Mitt is the only prominent republican Congressman with the guts to do it who comes to mind.
He’s been on the outs with the caucus ever since he voted to impeach Trump. I think he will actually endorse Biden as the much lesser of two bad choices to choose from. So, a modified endorsement. If he does it I’m curious to see how it impacts his own re-election here in Utah down the road.
if Biden stays at 50 or higher, doesn’t really matter. That said, can’t even imagine how Trump had a bump. Then again, the dipshittery in this country is powerful,
