I truly enjoy how people get up in arms about harassing mother fuckers condemning Americans to death and commiting treason. There's literally nothing else people can do. Somehow these people should be shielded from harm, but the Americans who suffer don't deserve to have people stand up for them in this fashion. Give me a fucking breaking, every single god damn GOP politician should be harrassed, spit on, have things thrown etc. They deserve all of it.
GOP politicians are lucky they don't live in a society that can actually retaliate in a proper way for what they've done to all of us
If your new thing for 2021 becomes calling everybody who pisses you off a cuck instead of swearing and screaming, I'm going to be a very happy dude. That so low key cool
Cops must have been so conflicted here. Seems like it would have been so easy to just arrest and tow.
But probably not. Kid will grow up a privileged shitbag that goes on to do privileged shitbag things and never suffers any consequences or repercussions. So no, I don't feel very many feelings for the wife and kid in the house.
Literally nothing happened or will ever happen to them. And if something does happen some dock worker making 23k a year will start a go fund me for Hawley’s family and they will get even wealthier living off and operating within the system they claim so vehemently to fight against.
Where's a socially deranged guy from the Nashville suburbs into conspiracies and bombs yet still somehow has a girlfriend when you need one?
Correct, they should be fucking terrified of the ramifications of trying to do shit like strip millions of healthcare.
She should have divorced him days if not weeks if not months if not years ago. Hopefully she finds some gainful employment to take care of the kid once Hawley is imprisoned.
Until our justice system actually functions properly Republicans lawmakers and their shitbag spouses should be unable to leave their homes. The kids are unfortunate innocent bystanders (until proven otherwise) and their fortunes are in no way more important than the damage their parent is responsible for.
They should all serve in their home states/districts where they have to answer to their constituents.
Glad we're all in agreement that politicians of both parties shouldn't have lives where they can't ever be bothered by people in public.
The risk is turning them into sympathetic figures while destroying your own message thus strengthening their position
Don't mistake my comment for saying he doesn't deserve it. He deserves much worse than lighting candles and talking through a megaphone at his fucking second home. I just think that bullshit like that and his response tweet cause much worse responses from the psychos on their side. He's probably giddy to use his wife and kid for political capital. They respond better when you hit them financially. I firmly believe that Lindsey Graham isn't the one in the Hawley role because he spent every fucking dime he's ever raised trying to stave off his challenger.
*Only home. He currently doesnt have one in Missouri. He used his sister's address to vote this year, but no one wants to talk about that kind of voter fraud
Do you think that the reason they don't care about those deaths is because they weren't scolded enough?
I legitimately think people like Hawley would care more if a thousand newly widowed husbands and wives screamed at him each day.
I think he's not stupid and knows how bad this is, but if every single Republican senator were having their nerves constantly rocked by screaming people then they might act or at least never dared showing their faces again.
Ron DeSantis is such a fucking goon, I hate him so much. Baby Huey looking motherfucker that looks like he's trying on his dad's suits.
You're right, he's not stupid. Like he did here, he turns himself into the victim and his idiot supporters become even more entrenched.
on civility and how its only goal is protecting the powerful https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/12/adam-serwer-civility/600784/ and on "he doesnt care" we live in a world that is being broken in part because the powerful get yelled at by people on twitter that in the before times never had to actually hear any of these criticisms. they all desperately care and are influenced by it.
somebody asked a page or two ago, "who was going to" fight in the civil war Virginia Deputy Fired After Far-Right Calls For Violence On Social Media A post on Aaron Hoffman’s Parler account suggested that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts’ life “needs to be shortened.” By Mary Papenfuss A Virginia sheriff’s deputy was fired Saturday after a freelance journalist linked his social media account to chilling threats against politicians and judges. One of the comments — posted on the deputy’s “WeThePeopleWarrior” profile on the right-wing social media platform Parler — called on followers to find the homes of politicians and “liberal” judges, and “remove them from their sanctuary.” Spoiler “Take back your State capitals,” the post urged. “Find the homes of every Governor, mayor, attorney general, liberal judge, senator, congressman and every major media/social media CEO...find them, remove them from their sanctuary. Bring the nightmare to where they lay their heads and kiss their loved ones. Show them that they are NOT untouchable.” The deputy was identified in a local press report and by The Washington Post as Aaron Hoffman. He was exposed by Charlottesville, Virginia, freelance journalist Molly Conger, who revealed the posts in a Twitter thread. Hoffman told the Post that the account was his, but insisted he didn’t post the comments. “I did not make those posts,” Hoffman said. “I’m trying to figure out who did.” He said the comments also “disturbed” him. By Saturday afternoon all of Hoffman’s social media accounts had either been set to private or deleted. Another post from Hoffman’s account included a threat to kill anyone who touches his children to vaccinate them against COVID-19 without his consent. “Not a threat, but a promise,” the post said. The person behind the WeThePeopleWarrior account also posted that he would become “insanely violent” if anyone tried to make him wear a face mask. Additionally, there was a threatening comment about former President Barack Obama, and a suggestion that the life of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts “needs to be shortened.” Roberts has become a particular target recently of the extreme right wing because of his lack of action to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Prince William County Sheriff Glendell Hill, a Republican, told the Post that he found the comments “very despicable. That’s why I took the action that I took,” he added, referring to Hoffman’s firing. “I certainly don’t approve of that, and, of course, it’s against our policy.” Prince William County Sheriff's Office about a week ago Early yesterday our agency was notified about disturbing comments being made on several social media outlets by a deputy sheriff. Sheriff Hill was notified and ordered an Internal Affairs investigation. The investigation has concluded and the deputy has been terminated from employment with our office. We thank the public for bringing this to our attention. People commenting on the Facebook page hailed the quick action by authorities, but feared that Hoffman might now seek employment on another police force. Many were also concerned that he’s still apparently heavily armed. Conger reposted a WeThePeopleWarrior post on Parler showing off an assortment of weapons. An Arkansas police chief resigned last month after a Parler message calling for “death to all Marxist Democrats” was linked to him. Lang Holland, now the former police chief of Marshall, initially claimed his account had been hacked, but later admitted he had written the posts.
