How is Gaetz treatment of his staff even remotely relevant to the accusations against him? It's totally plausible that a man could be a sex criminal towards some people but not others. "This arsonist didn't burn down my house specifically so therefore he must not be an arsonist." I'm also skeptical there are any actual women behind that memo

VA just legalized weed. never thought I'd see the home of Philip Morris beat the rest of the South to the punch on the devil's lettuce. you may recall I posted about this months ago when prior legislation passed the General Assembly but that was for legalization and public sale to begin in 2024 which is, well, fucking stupid since they had earlier de-criminalized. Northam forced the GA to reconvene for a day and put simply legalization up for a vote to go into effect this July and it passed. can't sell it, can't smoke in public, but you can grow your own and gift up to an ounce to anyone. very legal and very cool.
Man, thank god Northham didn't resign. He has done good progressive steps for VA that I would have thought he wouldn't have had the balls or political clout to do. We do a great job at eating our own on the left and thus creating a vacuum that the GOP is more than happy to fill, VA seemed ripe for that to happen if he stepped down.
