This is insane. "We'll make a law where you can't ban us!" is just nuts. They are a private company. They can allow or not allow anyone thwy want to be on their platform. We'll, at least they should be able to.
How does that even work? Who enforces them to pay the fine? If they don't pay it, then what? They take them to court? Federal Court?

They haven’t changed a thing. They are still awful Humans and people. The right just needs a boogeyman and they honestly think people care that these companies took small steps like backing voters rights. The GOP is putrid at messaging when they can’t blame blacks or women.

And good luck figuring out how to spread your lies and misinformation without Facebook. Would be an incredible own goal considering all the top stories on Facebook are alt-right fake news.
Instead of spending tens of millions on ad after ad right before elections, dems should just always have commercials and other ads pushing back on disinformation and actually educating people. The return on investment of that would be far better than whatever you get on your 90th advertisement of the month in any race on the same show a month before the election.

even the "good" history channel stuff doesn't really compare to the litany of podcasts that are out there now there is one just called The History of World War 2 Podcast that has like 250 30-60 minute episodes
