I was involved with the USDA Food box program during the entirety of it and worked with a ton of people who got contracts.

It started out great, smallish grass roots manufacturers, distributors and farmers getting food to people in need. Then, in the third round (around Q4 2020), the contacts started to go to mega distributors and it was very evident that they were squeezing out the small guys. It became catered to the mega-corp and no doubt rife with fraud.
