Women are divided as 50 percent back Cruz and 48 percent back O'Rourke. Men back Cruz 57 - 42 percent. White voters back Cruz 66 - 32 percent. O'Rourke leads 97 - 3 percent among black voters and 54 - 45 percent among Hispanic voters. That seems odd but what do I know. What would be the Liberal equivalent of this? I seriously sat here, for a long ass time, struggling to think of a Democratic politician vilifying and demonizing the other side over some minuscule cultural difference/preference, as Republicans and Fox hosts frequently do (e.g. San Fransisco "values", Tofu eating Liberals, Hollyweird, New England Progressive "Elitists", Velvet Mafia, New York "values", etc...). The best I could come up with was the Hillary "basket of deplorables" comment and, even in that case, 1.) she was obviously being hyperbolic and 2.) she couched it in saying about half of Trump supporters are deplorable, not Conservatives, not Republicans. She didn't just paint the entire Right side of the political spectrum with a broad brush, and those whom she did attack (half of Trump supporters) she attacked based on their political (and racist) beliefs, not some trivial cultural shit. As far as I can tell, this constant vilifying and demonizing is flowing in one direction.
