To be clear, I was shocked when I heard Jon Tester use those words. Tester is the only farmer in the Senate. We all know what it is, but him saying it that way and supposedly from their perspective seemed counter to my understanding of what most republicans view as socialism.
This just made me think, why are people not just @'ing with tweet threads? You know any paper that comes across him that doesn't just suck him off is going straight to the trash. Tweets can be resent to him daily. Edit by people I mean legislators, Like AOC has been doing.
The slugs always want salt. This time just alt their fields and put them in the minds so they can wallow in their Americana.
Yeah, that's common. This bitch - who was drunk, high, and texting when she ran over someone and then callously left the guy to die in the middle of the road - just got let out 7 years early because she led some prayer groups and wrote a column in the prison newspaper or some shit. She had a history of drink driving before she killed someone, but whatever, she's a pastor so... nbd. She ended up doing 2.5 years or something. https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/bs-md-cook-released-20190513-story.html
When Huckabe was governor numerous stories were written about how if you got on the grounds keeping detail then talk like you were "born again" you could get your ticket punched if you chatted him up
She’s solidifying herself as the only option for me. (Obviously still willing to vote for whoever wins the Dem nomination but god dammit America, please make it Warren)
Run these stories day and night. I’d buy commercial time in shitty midwestern cities if I could and just run these interviews and sound bites of politicians calling bankrupt farmers “sacrificial.”
This is great. Great interview. It speaks to what I was thinking earlier today when I wrote that Trump is playing poker with their money and they don't necessarily have the risk tolerance or ability to bluff like he does, especially when he has nothing on the line. They absolutely don't want to be thinking about what happens when the tariffs end and when does the money stop from the govt.? Beyond that, how quickly will prices rebound if ever? Will the outcome of the war actually be positive and bring prices and markets back? What if it doesn't work? Lots of uncertainty for them. This forced China to find new markets. Will they come back to US goods when this ends?
Here, help fund someone's access to abortion in Alabama while you still can (without copping a murder charge). https://yellowhammerfund.org/
turns out people don't like being called "patriots" as a cover to demand their silence and acceptance of your shitty policy
Chis kicks ass. He was dumb to ever vote for the clown but at least he speaks out on what he has learned.
I gotta say, it must suck being a lawyer these days, seeing your profession torn to pieces from the very top
This is why stacking the judiciary is so important to McConnell. Trump is absolutely going to lose this one, but one of his judges would’ve ruled in his favor. It’s how you become a dictator
Are planning on attacking Iraq or is that just the assumed collateral damage when we attack Iran without provocation
I guess the completely unprovoked attack the US military / Trump administration about to unleash on Iranian military and oil (revenue) generating capacity on behalf of the House of Saud will result in the entire Shia Islamic world wanting us all to die. Since most of Iraq is indeed Shia (who did the majority of the heavy lifting against IS) I guess they figure things will be not too pleasant there.
