The podcast is hit and miss. I still like him but he and his cohost enjoy poking Democrats over minor shit WAY too much His half-ambivalence about Trump kind of reminds me of what Christopher Hitchens did after we invaded Iraq, although I read that stuff way after it was current so maybe it's not quite the same
9/11 kind of broke Hitchens, or maybe just revealed more clearly his hardcore war hawk streak and huge western bias lot of those anti-theist bros quickly became all religion is bad BUT ISLAM IS LIKE WAY WAY WAY WORSE
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Trillbilly Workers Party. No where near as polished as Chapo but they all legit live in super coal-country eastern Kentucky and have seen so much of the exploitation of the poor mostly white working class that Trump supposedly won over.
Love how people think someone fresh out of college was going to be in charge of something like that. Like McKinsey isn't a multinational a company with over 10,000 employees. But he probably should have said something by now about the type of work he was doing for those 3 years, not just who the clients were.
lmfao, they endorsed BOTH Klobuchar and Warren. Fucking pathetic and spineless, at least choose one single candidate
its every lefty criticism of them all wrapped up in one moment aesthetics of progress and liberalism great policies? meh we don't care
Looks like a terminator who's getting fucked up towards the end of the movie and can't shape shift correctly
The NYT editorial board endorsement means nothing. Everyone knows it means nothing and was saying as much before the airing of it. I think the twitter jokes are pretty dumb, though. The dual endorsements make sense from my perspective having read their piece. Warren is their choice if you believe the country is fundamentally broken and requires radical solutions to fix. Klobuchar is the choice if you think a candidate with more traditional ideals is more appropriate. I'm personally in the former camp and I like Warren and her ideas a great deal. I'm not a big Klobuchar fan but I take the endorsement of her as more of an indictment on Biden, Bloomberg, and Buttigieg. And I don't mind the dual endorsements, either, because I think there is a clear distinction between the two factions within the primary and I don't particularly care nor want the NYT ed board to tell me which to choose or which they favor.
nihilism is a meme -does not elaborate and seems attractive for this reason -ultimately drives you into the depths of despair/4chan
