By and large, right wing nut jobs are without fail the biggest collection of losers in history. I'd feel sorry for them if they weren't so objectively cruel and awful.
Fun side story this week. The local tabletop game shop I attend made a change in policy and banned all weapons(guns, knives, etc). There has been some amazingly hilarious backlash that has come with it, and most of the anger is coming from non locals who shop from the store online. The fragility of these folks is incredible, worried about getting attacked while at a game shop.
We have active posters like Talking Head and theriner69er who pretend that racism is no big deal. We as a country have a long ways to go. Hopefully with the passing of boomers we can get rid of a majority of the racism and intolerance.

Racism is a huge deal. Thinking that not every interaction between a white and black person is racism =/= racism is no big deal. HTH
I told a girl to not use the phrase black boy. I just spent the last two hours having slavery and systemic racism explained to me.
This almost deserves it's own thread, but basically at a bar and someone complained that it's bad they lost a bar game to some black boys. I told her the phrase black boy was a pejorative and she didn't need that descriptive and it was offensive. Her reply later was to give me the worst explanation of slavery and race relations maybe ever. Not to go too deep but Indians lost land because they weren't smart and women have had it as bad as black people. I tried to ask about black women in this scenario but it didn't fit her whitesplaining.
He also believes that lynchings were not racially motivated because some white people were lynched as well.
People don't like to acknowledge that the supreme court is a partisan institution because it breaks the fairy tale of how the government works
