I finished contributing to my 2019 IRA this morning. Not because of fat boy’s advice. Just general “time in the market is better than timing the market” philosophy. Hopefully those needing their funds relatively soon aren’t sitting on an aggressive mix at this point. I’d expect extremely volatile markets in the coming weeks/months. Edit: I’m now due a $12 refund so I might legitimately Eat Arby’s for symbolism’s sake
Was there a criminal case that came from this? Are border patrol agents free to shoot border crossers now?
This was actually a murder across the border. Google the case in the tweet and you'll get info. Kids, 15 y/o, playing game at border near El Paso where the touch US fence and run back Border Patrol detains on kid. One kid, Hernandez fleas to Mexico side and throws a rock. CBP shoots child in the face and he dies. This is now 100% legal and CBP can murder Mexicans without impunity
I mean, what are you arguing about here? Just for the sake of it? "Mesa was standing on U. S. soil when he fired the bullets that struck and killed Hernández, who was on Mexican soil, after having just run back across the border following entry onto U. S. territory. Agent Mesa contends that Hernández was part of an illegal border crossing attempt, while petitioners, Hernández’s parents, claim he was playing a game with his friends that involved running back and forth across the culvert separating El Paso, Texas, from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico."
Here is the video of this. I was actually surprised that Acosta initiated the conversation about truth.
Trump declines to condemn India's anti-Muslim law latimes.com/politi... 11 people have been killed, over 150 injured, mosques are being vandalized and set on fire in Delhi - this is the deadliest violence the Indian capital has seen in decades. aljazeera.com/news/2...
Amanpour had the trump 2020 digital media strategist (or whatever, not Parscale) on and asked him if Trump would be making remarks about it and he gave some bullshit like "I'm sure that will be part of their private conversations..." Cool nazi guest, Christianne
Thank God all of these unions want to fight for paying their insurance or else they could use their negotiating power to fight this.
She wishes those services were paid for privately as well, no doubt, befitting every privileged asshole who ever signed in at the Heritage Foundation.
It's really going to be something to watch Orange Baghdad Bob tell us everything is a-ok when the stock market is in free fall and everyone's wearing masks. Good times.
Well, I trust that the government is always lying and assume the opposite to be true, which might have some drawbacks now that I think about it.
She’s white. I guarantee she’s called the White People Customer Service, I mean police, at some point unnecessarily.
This youngster is ready and so is her Pappy An 11-year-old girl brought a loaded AR-15 to the Idaho statehouse Spoiler By Lauren Theisen New York Daily News | Feb 24, 2020 | 7:29 PM Charles Nielsen, 58, and his 11-year-old granddaughter, Bailey Nielsen, testify before a House panel at the Idaho Statehouse on Monday. Feb. 24, 2020 in Boise, Idaho. Visitors to Idaho 18 and older who can legally possess firearms would be allowed to carry a concealed handgun within city limits under legislation that headed to the House on Monday, Feb. 24. (Ken Ritter/AP) Accompanied by her grandfather, Charles, an 11-year-old girl named Bailey Nielsen carried a loaded AR-15 and appeared before a panel at the Idaho statehouse in order to make the point that more people should be able to carry concealed handguns in the state, according to AP. “People live in fear, terrified of that which they do not understand. She’s been shooting since she was 5 years old. She got her first deer with this weapon at 9. She carries it responsibly. She knows how not to put her finger on the trigger,” Charles told lawmakers. Bailey did not say anything at the hearing. Idaho passed a law last summer allowing any state resident 18 years or older to carry a concealed handgun without a permit in urban areas. The new legislation that Charles and his granddaughter came to support would extend that privilege to all legal U.S. residents. “When they come to Idaho, they should be able to carry concealed, because they carry responsibly,” he said. “They're law-abiding citizens. It's the criminal we have to worry about.” Nielsen didn’t appear to clarify how he could tell the difference between a law-abiding citizen with a concealed handgun and a criminal with a concealed handgun. While Idaho has had relatively few gun-related homicides per capita in the past decade, according to the Center for American Progress, it still ranks above the national average for gun deaths because of its shockingly high number of gun suicides — more than any state except Wyoming, Montana and Alaska. [More U.S. News] Supreme Court declines to hear appeal of death row inmate Rodney Reed after lawyers raise new evidence » Opponents of the legislation say that it’s a bad idea to let teenagers carry concealed handguns without any kind of training, and could lead to more shootings. They also point out that allowing people to have concealed weapons without a permit makes them an outlier in the U.S. “The vast majority of states require that a person get a permit before carrying a concealed gun in public," said Diana David of Moms Demand Action to AP. “That’s a common-sense policy.”
Not doing my Jugsian Research, but I’d be shocked if Idaho allowed the use of Assault Rifles to hunt deer. Edit: Did my research and am shocked. Never would I consider using a .223 for hunting.
Doesn't matter she couldn't get through to schools since they were busy practicing active shooter drills.
So the administration's plan is to just pretend that the corona virus isn't a big deal and that an outbreak here is inevitable so why bother trying? time to dig up Republican tweets during ebola
