You're not wrong with the details here. The outcomes for the U.S., as pez mentioned, aren't what you nor your hero think they are though.
It's just a little weird that they're taking 66/1 odds on something that has absolutely no chance of happening. Or maybe not weird, since it's easy money if people want to throw it away by betting on her.
Yeah, but how could Trump have known a trade war would hurt everyone?! I feel fine You still dropped the "I spoke to a guy" reference, as if it meant anything of consequence ...
“The first type of conflict resolution is ‘lose-lose’, are we interested in pursuing a ‘lose-lose’ resolution?”
Supplements and end times survival material are the heartbeat of right wing grift. Those fucks should give Obama a large cut (likely millions) of all the money they made during his term.
A guy that played golf with Trump 4 times this year and the owner of several businesses affected by the tariffs. I left off the part that he thinks Trump is a fucking idiot. Doesn’t matter though, the tariffs are affecting the way companies do business without even going into effect. That’s the point.
Again, what would you like us to do with this info, random guy on the internet? "Several businesses" Thanks, but I think we can find better sources on the subject ...
He’s not wrong though. Companies are moving out of China. I said Singapore but it’s actually Vietnam. https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrap...factories-shifting-out-of-china/#598c5446103e
No, your point was that these tariffs were such a boon for America that they themselves would pay for a border wall many times over. That was nonsense. Now, you've moved onto "the tariffs are hurting China." Ok, cool. Hook em.
Not the point I'm making. Just humorous seeing rules hold up a personal interaction as corroborating evidence for whether or not the tariffs are "good" ...
"Making America Great Again" has transitioned into "Making China Slightly Less Comfortable At The Moment". Awesome.
Dear Friends, Rules is a shit-eating moron and his real life acquaintances are, at best, dumb enough to interact with him personally and agree with him. Whether they exist or not. I think this point has been proven and re-proven the last couple days and we should ignore him for a while until he gets new material. Heart Hands, ~ taylor ~
I thought something along these lines and DollarBillHokie laid it out. Now here it is: Harvard is using its $39 billion endowment to buy up farmlands and vineyards in California, as well as the groundwater access they provide, at above-market prices so it will control water in an increasingly drought-prone region, and be able to profit from the consequences of global warming. Gotta love those liberal ivory towers!
My point was made to whomever said that Chinese officials can just wait out Trump because they have lifetime appointments. They can try and wait it out, but companies are leaving right now.
Fair enough. I wouldn’t expect something as simple as suitcases to ever be produced in the US. A lot of things will have to change before that becomes economical. However, higher end more complex things such as cars or medical equipment I think it might be possible to encourage production to return here.
He’s the one that owns travel pro and was explaining to me how it’s affecting a lot of businesses that manufacture in China. You know, someone who actually knows something and has experience on a large enough scale to matter. I don’t think that’s random.
Fucking gross. Newt Gingrich? The gift that keeps on giving. Fuck that guy. We flipped his district and he can go eat a dick.
Draining the swamp by *checks notes* nominating H.W.’s AG and trying to make a former Speaker of the House Chief of Staff.
