The bill as drafted was sustainable, but the pieces of shit you shill for sabotaged it because people don’t need health insurance.
The bill as drafted was always a stop gap that kicked the can down the road because it lacked the necessary cost controls.
Accidental Courtesy is a documentary about Daryl Davis, a black musician who befriends and slowly changes the hearts/minds of long-time, high-ranking KKK members just through listening to/talking with them. Worth a watch if you’re wondering about redemption for dudes like that.
Here's the thing, though: he's hinting at what type of asset is being used for this intel (pretty easy to deduce, since we don't have any spies or equipment in NK); he gave away the collection capabilities of the asset (e.g. it collects some type of emissions associated with nuclear testing sites, at the very least); he gave away part of the footprint of the asset (hinting that Kim knew exactly which facility he's talking about; and if Kim knows when the facility has been active, then he now knows when NK is in the footprint of the asset and when it's able to collect intel on them. All of that is info that would be deemed classified.
they just voted a legitimate Tea Party fucktard to roll against Kaine with Comstock basically being a swift breeze from being bounced out of office before Stewart got on the ticket. VA will probably stay blue nationally for a long time but now the GOP is losing ground constantly in the state and almost looks to be SOL for the near future. Wisconsin finally having enough of Walker and Ryan would be the best. What is it, 18-15 right now?
Dude I was working with our missile warning systems as an A1C in the Air Force in 1999. We watched shuttle launches, forest fires, jets, etc based on heat signatures. Its way more common knowledge than you think. Hell we had foreign military tour our squadron.
Big shocker here but CNN is reporting that Putin gave Trump the idea of stopping the military exercises with South Korea
You realize why rates went up, right? The payments from govt to carriers to offset early program losses were stripped by the GOP. It is akin to taking the transmission out of a car and standing on the side of the road screaming at the car for being a piece of shit. One can debate the propriety of those payments and the efficacy of the law but not this sabotage. Meme-Wise, this is :ericandreshootinghannibal: type shit.
If I lived in Seoul, I'd be getting the fuck out of there yesterday. Hopefully, the military brass prevail (assuming they're pragmatic) when this shit inevitably hits the fan.
They sure as shit weren't about tea. If they had been I'd likely have joined in. Fucking love some Earl Grey
Amazing work there Donny making NK immediately not a threat at all. Amazing what a handshake and a meaningless paper can do!
For those who haven't heard Christian Picciolini's story this podcast is fantastic: https://samharris.org/podcasts/121-white-power/ Cliffs: Recruited into a Neo-Nazi group at the age of 14, head of local group by 16, and eventually defected around 22. Now he devotes a lot of his time to helping people get out of that life or prevent ones from getting too deep into it. Like nofatchildren said most of these people are redeemable.
The right answer is to replace for profit insurance with a public option and - boom - you basically have the Swiss health system and exactly what the ACA was supposed to be.
Why do I get the feeling more and more that the agreement was basically just "I'll tweet nice stuff about you if you pinky swear not to nuke the US".
IIRC our military drills over there have been pissing off the Russians for like 60 years so it sounds like everyone got what they wanted
China and Russia just dunking all over democracy. China’s aggression in the South China Sea has been worrisome for 5 years and now this. I imagine Russia and China are astounded at how easily they are able to play us
It all seems like one giant con. I think Trump even boasted about knowing nothing about the situation prior to the meeting. I'm guessing he thinks that being the first president to meet with the North Koreans means he won. "No one thought it was possible."
The United States thought it was a good idea to elect Donald fucking Trump to lead the country. They saw exactly how easy it would be to play us.
Would not be shocked to see a one page deal incoming with Saudi Arabia, to make oil prices great again.
Honestly though, if all of the flag stuff and "treating North Korea as an equal" actually results in North Korea giving up their nuclear weapons, then I am good with it. And I know everyone is sick of the nfl anthem stuff, but it's interesting that kneeling during the anthem is disrespecting the flag but setting up a dozen of them next to a dozen flags of a truly Orwellian country in an official state capacity is not disrespecting flag.
Every goddamn day things get dumber and dumber. To just declare North Korea no longer a threat has to be the dumbest thing he has ever tweeted. I’m sure his approval rating will shoot up again because apparently the United States is full of morons.
No doubt dozens of Cock Units emptied into the mouth region of KAC before she donned the cap and gown.
Which is true but he still won. The fact he was even one of the candidates on the ballot is telling enough that we are a country of dumbasses.
OPEC didn't choose to destabilize the region again because a black man once made fun of you you feckless cunt
I laugh every time I read this... Stephen Miller, senior adviser for policy Once jumped into a girls’ high-school track race to prove men’s athletic superiority.
The country that does this all the time and the country that just walked away from a deal with Iran want you to know they are both operating in good faith.
I almost respect the fact that he makes zero effort to even try hide that he only views his job as a means to self deal. Refreshing almost.
