Shit like this blows my mind. Our president is literally one of the dumbest people in public office if not the world. He has accomplished almost nothing of his own doing, in his life. The fact anyone would want to associate themselves with him is strange. He has shown that he only cares about himself and maybe some of his family. He is a terrible example for our children and has emboldened the ugliest and most ignorant of our citizens. He called one of our strongest allies a foe and is now trying to become best pals with an enemy. To say DJT has been anything but impotent with regard to Russia is simply a joke and shows that you chose to live in an alternate reality. People are losing the ability to think for themselves thanks to the propaganda of Fox News. I long for the day when a person of rational thought and average intelligence is at the helm.

I’m not ok with it. But it’s called hacking, they are gonna continue to try it. (Let’s not forget that we “attack” Russia all the time. It states in the article that we are capable of shutting down their infrastructure through the NSA. They didn’t give us that info.) What we have or have not done is irrelevant. I dont expect them to stop trying. I also don’t expect us to allow them to continue unabated. Again, who cares if a “vote was changed” that’s not the standard at all. This has nothing to do with collusion. This has nothing to do with legitimacy of a presidency , so let’s ignore all of that. This has to do with crimes committed by a foreign power on US soil in an attempt to undermine the election process. Trump’s department of justice indicted 12 Russian governmental operatives and he’s blaming Obama. That’s not what I expect from the president of the United States. I’m sorry I have higher standards than that.
It shouldn’t matter if zero votes were changed or if 1 million were (other than telling us which specific systems need to be changed). None of those votes matter when selecting the president. The electoral college cast their votes and had them certified. That’s all that matters. Losing the popular vote has done nothing to humble Trump. Losing it by even more wouldn’t change him a bit. Vote changing is irrelevant. A hostile foreign entity attacked the core of what makes America America. That’s what matters. And our president is at best unconcerned (and quite frankly more often very defensive) about it.
