On behalf of all Californians, I apologize for this dunce. He's just the worst. We can only hope he develops a voracious meth addiction like has sadly become commonplace in the area he represents.
I don’t think most people realize how much of California could be mistaken for the Deep South if you disassociate it from SD, LA, and SF.
that’s everywhere. American is a different country outside of the metropolitan areas, or at least it feels that way.
I grew up in Columbia sc, but since I've graduated college 10 years ago (what the fuck) I've lived in two towns that had 25k people in them. Currently in a town of 7k. Spent a year in a town of 500 and a year traveling the deep south in small towns. Metro areas are completely different.
Nearly 4.5 million people here voted for Trump. There are definitely some 'necky assholes here. But yeah, the Bakersfield-Visalia-Fresno-Merced-Modesto corridor is as shitty as anywhere.
There's probably only a couple states with more Trump supporters than California. The electoral college is so stupid in the 21st century.
I was in East County SD in October before the 2016 election, I saw more Trump signs than in Ohio. Then when I came back to Ohio all the Ohioans wanted to talk about the “liberals” in California. It’s definitely a weird situation.
Apparently the mouthpiece for the liar was in Nashville a few days ago. Hate I missed a chance to heckle her out of a bar.
This country is so fucking stupid, I'm not a Hillary fan but this piece with Zakaria is every reason she should today be president.
Right but she gave a speech on Wall Street and said super predators in the 90s, so the only logical thing to do was hand the govt over to a xenophobic authoritarian con man so the whole system could be unraveled. Much better outcome than having Hillary defile the Oval Office with her pragmatism and sensible policies.
I’d bet $100 he doesn’t even know the meaning of the word quantitative, and his base applauds that because they don’t either.
I'm just saying it's hilarious if he was because the GOP spent nearly a decade screaming about how QE would lead to hyperinflation not seen since the Weimar Republic and then "...he just tweeted it out"
