Talent wise we should beat Illinois with that roster. All the remaining RBs need some carries to see what we have for next season. Haynes was a big loss. We still probably need an experienced back from the portal.
I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELIN THE CHEESIEST COACH #Illinois Fightin' Illini #South Carolina Gamecocks
Also the white cheddar cheeze-it’s with a cool, crisp Diet Coke has become my go-to late morning office snack. Highly recommend for a pre-lunch appetizer.
Seems like we are stacking some high ranked local receivers in this class -- this guy, Malik Clark, Jordon Gidron
If someone on here knows ball, I'd like to hear their assessment. I just see three guys ranked 4 star from in state at a fun position and feel excitement. Not sure if these are Pharoh Cooper 4 stars or Jason Barnes/Joe Hills 4 stars
How could you possibly leave Dion Lecorn out of the 4 star WR bust conversation? He and his HS teammate John Brantley under didn’t quite meet expectations. Antonio Allen was in the same graduating HS class and was rock solid for us.
Duuude I same thing happened to me but it hit me right as I was about to google “South Carolina Recruiting Class 2007”. I remembered the Brantley and Allen bit but was blanking on his name. Think I might have the Alzheimer’s. THANKS LECORN.
Man, just go to the NFL or graduate or whatever. The long farewell letters are just annoying after the tenth one
Update on this -- Tried to get my last HG hurrah Dec 27. Went at 4pm to avoid a crowd. Nope, every table filled and two deep all the way around the bar. Next tried Transmission. Also ass packed at 4pm on a Friday. Ended up at "Republic Biergarten", the old Flying Saucer. We were the only souls in the place. It has become a Five Points style pool hall with sticky bathroom floors. I was able to get some food though.
Yep. And now we're even worse, cause I see Stute is out indefinitely with "lower leg thrombosis." Don't think I can bring myself to watch the snuff film tonight
We will play better than we did against MS State, but the league is hella good and we are badly missing what Cooper brought us. A table setter who gets everyone good looks. Look at our assist totals, it’s bad. We don’t move the ball as well anymore
The transfer we lost to Nova was rough. He’d make a big difference. We had that guy but he couldn’t say no to the hometown school
Article is scant on details. This would be huge for Columbia though. Improve game day atmosphere, improve safety, improve life for all of us driving down that street etc. Columbia secures $204M in federal funding for Assembly Street railroad separation project Spoiler COLUMBIA — The city has secured over $200 million in federal funding to separate Assembly Street from the railroads that cross it. The funding designation was disclosed in a document provided to The Post & Courier by U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn's office on Jan. 8. It's the biggest step forward yet for the huge project, aimed at reducing traffic congestion and increasing safety along one of downtown's busiest thoroughfares. The frequent rail use by freight companies like NS and CSX has long plagued areas of downtown with heavy traffic congestion along the busy road. The money is a part of the Biden Administration's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which authorizes up to $108 billion for public transportation. The project could cost somewhere between $275 million and $300 million, and potentially more, depending on which design option is chosen and when construction begins. The city, Richland County and S.C. Department of Transportation will contribute the rest of the funding. Next, one of three design options for the project will need to be chosen. That's planned to be complete in by the end of January, according to SCDOT's timeline of the project. Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann praised Rep. Clyburn and Sen. Lindsey Graham for their efforts in helping the city secure funding for the project. "Their efforts helped us get over the edge. It will have a lasting impact on Columbia," Rickenmann said. "I couldn't be more excited." https://www.postandcourier.com/colu...cle_cc662752-cdda-11ef-8288-2bb3a9de2938.html
