Have to admit I was wrong about McClendon. I questioned the hire last year, but he has been impressive this year.
At least someone is finally delivering the passing stats we all were expecting the day we hired Spurrier.
I don’t see Wonnum staying for 5 either way There’s no luck involved when you couple depleted edge defenders and bad linebackers repeatedly allowing busts in the run game with playing that cover 3 bullshit with no semblance of a pass rush to gives teams ample opportunities to sustain drives. Not shocking that some of these dudes got hurt after the snap counts they registered this year.
Questions for the thread: We are sitting on 17 commits. How many will we sign this class? Any big names we're still in on for this class? Which commits to be most excited about besides Hilinski and Z. Pickens? Which bowl will we get? I prefer Gator or Belk to Liberty
23 I believe because of jamel cook and one other. Still got several 4 stars like the DT Sorrells on the line. Several other depth 3 stars as well. I believe we get the Gator or Belk. The punter who never enrolled maybe who I am forgetting?
I'll probably go if it's Gator Bowl or Belk Bowl. Belk makes so much sense, but I understand their rationale for not wanting a team that is both close and plays there sem-regularly the last few seasons. Saw one projections that was Belk Bowl v. Georgia Tech....fuck that noise
- 23, good chance that Jamario Holley and maybe even Jakheem Green don't make it to signing day - Biggest name left is Jaquaze Sorrells in terms of composite rating, he's a 92 4* between us and Bama but not sure what's going on there. They are trying to get Florida commit Tyron Hopper (4*) in for an OV this weekend to flip him (no guarantee that even happens). Ideally we could drop Holley and finish with 4* DT Sorrells, 4* LB Hopper, 4* S Jammie Robinson, 3* CB De'quan Watts, 3* CB John Dixon, 3* OT Jakai Moore, and 3* S/WR Xavier Leggette but I doubt that happens because they seem to want 5 OL and potentially another RB and may not end up taking anymore in the front 7 on D - Joseph Anderson, Cam Smith, and Jakheem Green are my favorites outside of the top 2 - I am hoping for Gator
On my way to Charlotte for the conference championship. I'll respond to this post in depth once we find out which NY6 Bowl we're going to this year.
Obviously extremely early but this freshman class has ridiculous potential. Bryant and Lawson have both shown they can be game changers. Moss is starting to come on a bit. Interested to see what this Frink kid can do but this is the most impressive class Frank has had.
I wanted to go and take my son to his first game, felt like it would have been a good one to take him to with not that many people so easy to get in and out plus early kick, but the forecast made that not possible.
Was doing this myself. Taking my daughter to her first game but my wife double booked us for something this evening. Was annoyed when I initially found out but I’m very glad we didn’t try to make it happen.
We are stupid as hell for having any starters in. Thought we would have at least learned their lesson after Bailey went down.
He seemed determined to keep putting the first string out there until they got a rhythm but shit after Q3 get some guys out there that want to be on the field
Scarnnechia should have gotten some snaps on his final home game along with others. Felt real bad for them.
Literally anyone that would’ve gotten out there and played like it wasn’t an inconvenience that the game didn’t end at halftime would’ve been nice
