Hey guys, just wanted to say that I support your natty movement. Been pulling for y'all this year and imo (as should be the opinion of any rational observer) your natty this year is as legitimate as half of bama and auburn's championships. But honest question - what are y'all doing about a trophy? Are you commissioning one? Just gonna use the peach bowl trophy? Feel like if you're gonna claim the natty, you need the hardware.
Reddit made us one. Not sure what was better, reddit making us a trophy, or every SEC fan on reddit losing their god damn minds over it.
It'd be so much easier to hate him but after reading what he did in December, it's clear he's a legit good dude and legitimately loves this team and this school.
BJ will play tonight. Really hoping we can keep playing the same defense and get an offensive spark with him back in the lineup. We are desperately going to need a quality win to point to come tourney time.
Let's hope he's coming back in time to salvage our tourny hopes. I get the feeling that it might be a week too late after the uconn game, but let's hope I'm wrong.
We've got 13 games left, two against Cincy, two against Wichita State, one against SMU. Say we win 10 of those meaning we would have to split against Cincy if we presume losing both to WSU, and win all the rest. That puts us at 22-8, if we go to the conference semis or champ game, i don't see how we don't get in.
correct, but I just do not see this team finishing 10-3 with that road in front of them. I think you will see us go 8-5 and go NIT again...injuries KILLED the season before it had a chance to get off the ground. Taco will leave (foolishly) and next year we will be the best...so close team in the country.
Honestly this team could be damn good with a healthy BJ so you never know. But with our year in football there was just no way the universe was going to let us have an amazing year in basketball
That was brutal. Horrendous ball handling and shot selection. Don't understand why they aren't doing more of throwing it high to Taco down under the basket.
What the fuck? Cincy makes games so ugly. We played them each of the last two years and they were just terrible basketball. One went to double OT and the score barely broke 50 iirc.
Cincy definitely likes this type of game but we like it more. As fun as our football team is to watch, the complete opposite for basketball. When you have a giant playing rim protector all day you just limits possessions and hope to eek it out. We have no offense, partially due to injuries.
lol at stansbury being on the CFP committee now. And the AD of Oregon being the head of it. Why couldn't they have been on it last season?
id be more comfortable with it being Skip Bayless, Stephen A, Colin Cowherd, and Clay fucking Travis than the guys who control everything from the inside being on the CFP
When backed up by mathematical certainty then yes an ad like ours has the duty to call it like he sees it.
UCF: the same National Championship taste that you love but with 100% less overt racism of leading competitors
Auburn just hired the AD that replaced DW at Buffalo. Wonder if they got rebuffed by White because apparently this guy did nothing new at Buffalo, just rode on the wave of what DW did.
Danny doesn’t seem like the guy who wants to kiss a bunch of old dudes ass in a high pressure environment. I think he sees the potential to be at UCF and build us into a big time player and he can be forever linked to UCF’s success instead of just another guy at a school like Auburn. He is so young that he could be at UCF for 15 years and still take a job at a blue blood and still be young compared to his peers.
That's such a bad move. Louisville is not good enough or prestigious enough historically to demand 2-1.
Especially since they were in the same league just a few years ago and Strong is the coach. Thats some shit.
I could totally see Strong back at Louisville if they decide to clean out the Jurich stench and get rid of Petrino.
At least that means he probably won’t go to the draft this year. I would expect him to stay another year now, a subpar half season isn’t going to raise his draft stock any
Weird that players didn't like GOL. “[Under O’Leary], basically, we lived in the weight room, so that was our way of having an edge over everybody else,” Rae says. “So with the new staff, I would say they were more like us. They looked after us. We came from a staff where they’d run us into the ground and that was it. “This staff, they took care of us. In past seasons, even when we were playing, we would get hurt during the season and it would take a toll on our bodies. My senior season was the only season I did not get hurt, because they took care of us. I love our strength and conditioning staff. “[Duval] really took care of us. He knew how to have fun and when to be serious. With the old staff, it was us against them. With the new staff coming in, [we thought] ‘He’s cool.’ We hung out outside of football. We never really did that before. That was really a culture shock. He treated me like I was his own son.”
