UCF Thread - President of the Pledges

I have people at work that go every Tuesday for their taco Tuesday deal. When they ask me if I want to go, it sounds to me like, “do you want to stand in line for twenty minutes to have indigestion for the rest of the afternoon?”

 

TF is better than say Taco Bell but not by as much as it is hyped. I prefer Fuzzy’s for my quick serve Mexican needs

 

Love me some Tijuana but there’s very little Mexican/Tex-mex I don’t like.

 

Burrito Del Sol is my current favorite "Mexican" spot. Up on the Emerald Coast

They have a sandwich there called the boss that combines two flavors. Chipotle Ranch + Lemon Pepper is my jam.

Any two, they have a bunch of them on the wall. I like to think I found the winning combination but in truth I've never combined anything else. Ain't going to try to fix what ain't broke.

 

Is it like you get as many sauces as you want?

 

Honestly, I didn't even know it was fieri when I went there.

I was enjoying my amazing chicken sandwich and looked up and saw "FLAVORTOWN" in big letters on the wall and thought to my self "oh god what have I done."

But now I'm hooked so whatever.

 

Game was cancelled so we seamlessly transitioned to bye week discussion

Finally getting to watch the UCONN game. My parents are recording them and mailing them out here so forgive me being twoweeks behind.

No, been back in Florida about a year; been deployed about 6 weeks though.

Last year I couldn't get to a game because all the home games were weekends I worked.

We haven't passed Frost's best class yet. We're about to though because we've got like, 7 or 8 more spots.

We need the undefeatedness to keep up for just a few more weeks at the least!

 

We're not losing in 2018. We have only 2 road games left all year.

 

This year we have played better on the road...

 

We've got one great offensive game in the bag, and one great defensive game. I really want to see what happens when we've got both sides playing well. I have a suspicion we'll see it against FAU. An extra week off, home on a friday night after a "poor" game. They're going to get demolished.

 

Last game Milton was bad but the OL and RBs and Def were playing great. I think we are strong enough to be able to win even when Milton is off. That's going to be tough to beat.

 

Yea, it's easy to overlook just how dominate the running game was I guess.

It's kinda crazy. It was just a d2 team but we may be at a point where we have so many weapons at our disposal we can just change it up and keep rolling.

I will say the reason we didn't run more and kept passing against sc state is we knew we were winning no matter what. So I don't mind huepel continuing to try what isn't working in hopes of fixing it through more reps. That was basically a practice.

Did they not watch their Oklahoma game?

 

I’m definitely an optimistic fan, despite rooting for teams that don’t deserve my optimism, and even I would not be confident if we got beat as bad as humanly possible by any team.

 

They could have had 16 guys on the field on defense and OU still would have had receivers running free

 

They won't be able to stop our offense. The question is whether or not our D actually wraps up and tackles people.

 

Guys. We're the biggest game in someone's history. We made it.

 

It's a good week to have off. There are a lot of teams to root for this afternoon. USF is the perfect game to watch at 3:30 because no matter what happens I'll be happy.
