Huepel, we have trusted you this far and you have not led us astray. Forgive me. I was wrong to despair
Team of Destiny. Big Balls Josh went for it twice on 4th and 1. Defense finally showed up in 2nd half. Memphis is dumb and should have spiked and kicked the FG To win. But they dumb.
Hey remember when I said it was stupid we were only favored by 5? How much money you lose citrodong ?
We definitely got some AAC ref assistance there but fuck it I’ll take it. That was definitely a PI on the last play. Untimed down and FG attempt should have been the call.
Between Nebraska losing in OT, UCF pulling one out of the shitter, and Oregon winning in OT, I’m spent. I might have to be done with football for day
Seriously, Heup’s ball so massive they probably have a gravitational pull. We don’t make that 4th and 1 from the 28, game is over
Those two fourth down calls to run the same play out of a power set in our own territory is such a sick move. He literally said in football words we are better and stronger than you and watch us move you off the ball.
I like the fact he went with our offense, the strength of the team and why we are on this amazing run to begin with. Put the game on them multiple times and they kept coming through. Fuck that GOL, punt and play defense shit.
Ok maybe it was missed PI on the last play but that was a dumb dumb throw to make in that situation and they shouldn’t have been rewarded.
I’ll have to look at the plays again now that I can be more objective but watching live I didn’t think any of them were PIs
The QB for Memphis was ok at best when it was dry, and dogshit once it got wet. Commentator said something like the 2 Memphis losses came in the rain. Not shocking from what I saw. BTW milton was also affected but not as much.
Is Memphis QB a freshman? Didn’t their QB from last year graduate? A veteran QB doesn’t scramble and just throws that last ball away so they can line up for a long kick. He was trying to make a play and it cost them.
I know what you're saying but it.was a bad throw. He would have had to stretch for the catch. I don't think the tackle impacted the play On the radio Daniels was losing his mind over a non pi against Nixon in the 3rd. But I didn't see it
So I was at Autzen watching the Ducks, and following our game on my phone. I barely survived that 15 minute period of the end of our game and the end of the Ducks game. Great fucking day.
I don't mean to alarm anyone. WVU is down by 14 in the 4th quarter on FS1. They could be the 4th team ahead of us to lose this week.
Oregon/Washington at Autzen is an amazing environment, I am jealous of you efriend. It looked like it was a nice day there too although it usually is since it never rains at autzen stadium
It was great weather, low 40's in the morning, warmed up to mid 60's, perfect. And yes that was the best atmosphere I've ever been in, so fucking loud, people stood the whole time, was just great.
Watch this video and its clear DW nailed this hire too. These guys love this staff and this staff is awesome and cocky as fuck.
So I haven't watched the game yet. Aside from obvious defense issues and run game stopping, what are our major problems? Did just Milton look bad in the 1st half or was the whole offense out of sync? Does this game change your thoughts on our ability to run the table?
Timely penalties killed us early. Jumped offisdes like 5 times. Bad on first down set us up with difficult 3rd.downs all game. Killins cannot be the feature back of this team. Just can't. OL seemed.more out of sync than Milton. Milton actually looked fine all day except for the wet football in the rain moments. DL not tackling the QB when they had their chances
Milton’s ankle has to be really bothering him. He barely ran yesterday, and when he did it wasn’t as sharp as he normally is.
Jasinski was also out which was pretty evident. Promising stuff: we finally have a coach who can make adjustments at halftime and he plays to win instead of playing to not lose.
Love that Huep basically let's RS do his thing and just focus on the offense. Yesterday was a power football day, killins needed to be sat, in those situations (wet, no real holes being made).
If we weren't on a win streak and a streak thread title I would have proposed UCF Thread: Heupel's BALLS
