I hope UCF gets a few transfer receivers for 2021. I don't know how you wouldn't want to be a WR here next year if you are a borderline NFL guy. We need 2 great WRs. Losing these games by 3 or 4 points when we have so many dropped passes was infuriating. Half of DGs incompletions hit the WR in the hands
Glad the basketball team won but I can't shake the ick factor that cbb is being played. I am barely looking past that cfb is even been played as college kids are getting positive tests (games cancelling all over the place) and we're all just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So then now put it all indoors and see how it works out? And good ol' UCF making sure to have fans in the building.... ugh...just gross to me. just no reason you had to start the season now.
Especially with our best player being permanently shut down from ever playing again because of the damage he got from Covid. Good times. College athletics needs a reckoning.
Is that what it was? I know there was some variety of permanent issue he was dealing with, but didn't know it was related to him getting COVID.
Person I know in athletics said his lungs got wrecked. Not sure if he also got that heart issue some guys have from it or what but they said doc wouldn't clear him and probably never will.
Ohio State can't get on the field and yet this doesn't seem to be deterring anyone. At this point I don't even know what a tipping point for a reckoning would actually look like
Players had so much power this year and they got manipulated so easily into giving in. Check the next ucf bot meeting minutes. The foundation is going to give athletics $3 mill while they are going to let all the retailers on campus fail. It's all so fucked.
College students can't be left to their own devices to make powerful decisions. Just thinking back to fraternity meetings...like we may eventually be smart people but your scope of the world is so uninformed at that point. Athletes needed an outside and professional entity but they thought they got what they wanted by "being allowed to play"...still for free...and at much more risk. Just totally taken advantage of. And seriously on the bot? Athletics has been begging for money and told people to give up their season ticket payments as donations which many did. Plus still had what? 40-50% capacity for football by the end of the season? I rolled over my $ for next season but I think im just going to ask for the money back at this point.
He’s spent the last 2 years rehabbing from a debilitating injury. I don’t think he needs to spend a year in running for his life
I agree, I think he'd be dumb to come here. But I don't think it's far fetched to think he'd reunite with his old coach who has a QB room in shambles currently.
That would be really cool if he took his home team to like 10 wins next year. No idea how good they are.
I'd hate to have to hope for Notre Dame to do well next year, but alas. But yea, with Book leaving, it makes a lot of sense. KZ is also fairly religious, so that angle might entice his family as well.
Silly thing but it's funny seeing the different athletics programs tweeting this and then UCF Knights or whatever RTing all of them as if all of the different sports are coming together when in reality it's probably the same person just sitting there doing all of it.
I'll say: Notre Dame Ohio State Miami UCLA Nebraska Are the five that I would guess for KZ. Nebraska would be dumb to try to run an offense behind that OL. Notre Dame is probably the safest choice for his future since they appear to have a really good OL.
