We’re losing Marlon, Nixon, and Harris. Ouch. And seemingly Otis and McBae as well. Hey, but at least Hescock is coming back...yay...
"ok what's a color that exists that no other school wears nor would ever in their right mind want to wear? Let's use that in the ugliest way possible and own it" -USF Athletics branding meeting probably
Random Twitter chatter. No one really source worthy, I’ve just seen a lot of similar tweets saying it the last couple days
If we waste the next two years of DG with a shitty coaching staff it will be a travesty. This year was pointless, but Heup better show something in 2021 to make me think he isn’t just a good OC.
No Isaiah Adams was too much to overcome, unfortunately. CJ Walker needs to find some fucking offensive rhythm, and Mahan needs to stop trying to do so much and just let the game come to him again. Every time he put the ball on the floor he tried too much and turned it over.
Meanwhile I tried to ask about a refund of my 2020/2021 football ticket money since ... now months later... I still don't see myself going to a full season of games in 2021. They said it wasn't possible to issue a refund now. So thats cool.
Here's the full list of those declaring for the Draft, per Barstool. Most we knew or suspected, but I didn't know about ARob. Tay Gowan Richie Grant Aaron Robinson Marlon Williams Tre Nixon Greg McCrae Jacob Harris Otis Anderson Jr
How many actually get drafted? Grant I think is only lock. McCrae I think makes a roster but not sure he gets drafted and same for Marlon.
I think the pedigree of UCF WR's lately helps gets Marlon picked in the back half of the draft. Agree with you about Grant; I think Otis will get dinged for his size, he and McRae could sneak in late but probably both UDFA, the rest definitely are.
Per Orlando Sentinel. Brandon dropped this bombshell on the internet trolls today on Rivals. UCF defense coordinator Randy Shannon’s current contract with the Knights runs through 2022 and includes a steep buyout, according to records obtained by the Orlando Sentinel. Shannon signed a two-year deal in February that keeps him under contract through Jan. 31, 2022. If the school were to fire him without cause, UCF would owe him 100% of his $1 million base salary.
Not UCF related, but seeing that DeVonta Smith's nickname is "Slim Reaper" makes me wonder what y'all consider the best sports nickname. For me it has to be Charles Barkley, "The Round Mound of Rebound"
Was Eric Mitchell the grad transfer LB you guys kicked off due to the gun incident worth a shit at all?
Not really, no. The LB corps played better without him. Of the guys that got kicked off the team, Charlton (now at Miss St.) is the only one I wished we could have kept.
He's not worth anywhere near what he's getting paid. He sucked horribly this year. I'm so tired of the Randy Specials and still don't understand how he has this reputation of delivering in South Florida in recruiting when he hasn't done shit recruiting for us. Our worst defensive unit is the unit that he is in charge of. That said, he did a decent job in 2018 and 2019 in running the defense. I'm hoping this year was as bad as it was because we had pretty much one or two guys left from our starting 11 after opt outs and injuries.
Unfortunately, we extended his contract before last season. He's still by far the highest paid G5 coordinator at $1 million per year. It's horrifying.
Renewing my season tickets and hopefully, the Boise State game will happen! If not, short drives up to Louisville and Cincinnati will be fun.
Not daring to go over to rivals but what are the patriots’ views on yesterday and the election? Big time stop the steal energy?
Because his family thought he should have had more playing time last season. Hope he enjoys his playing time at Georgia State.
So Bball with play @ Memphis on Feb1 & Feb 3 to replace the game missed here this week. Kinda sucks but I get it.
I'm surprised they're offering him a scholarship, but it would make sense for Moore to want to be with KZ. They've been roommates forever and went through the same rehab together. If it was a walk-on spot, that would make a ton of sense, but it looks like a scholarship spot. I don't know.
Well if he can play to how he did 2 years ago he would have to be an improvement but he's pretty limited in what he can offer. Feels like they wanted to make Milton happy with this one.
I think it's a 1 year flyer on a guy who can hopefully raise the floor. He was good before the injury, no idea what he's like now though. 2 transition classes in 3 years decimated the roster
I feel like if we used two scholarship spots on one year guys coming off of serious knee injuries, we would probably be pretty upset. I get taking KZ, but Moore is a tougher one to justify. Hope it goes well for him though. He never should have even been playing when that injury happened. We were up by like five fucking touchdowns already. Only being able to sign 25 schollies per year is starting to fuck up some rosters, I think.
The alternative is taking high school kids you're not that high on to fill those spots. 1 year mistake vs 4 is the logic I'd imagine.
Seems like a positive locker room kinda kid Worth the scholly even if he just claps a lot a practices hard We have/had the biggest collection of shitheads in modern CFB history for a roster
Collier was driving the car while Aaron Robinson, Mitchell and Moore were identified as passengers. Body-cam footage shows them interacting calmly with police. but only Antwan Collier, Kenny Turnier, Randy Charlton, Eric Mitchell were dismissed
