At this point, I’d expect him to be at LSU or Florida before Nebraska. He’d still get the big payday and would still have the type of athletes he wants to recruit in his back yard
Neither of those jobs will be open this year. All we have to do is send Osborne down with the AD and it's pretty much over.
I see you guys talk about being cheap, would you guys ante up and match/beat other offers if he gets a couple $5mill+ ones or would they cheap out?
Oh I know. And what's crazy I that some of it was fair even though small sample size and whatnot. I have always been pretty high on his talent but I never saw this level of accuracy coming. A lot of touchdowns have been wiiiiide open but he's also dropped a ton of beautiful passes too. It's crazy
I think everyone can be forgiven for hating on Milton last year and in the offseason. I've never seen a turnaround like the one he has had since last season, its like a completely different player. The kid couldn't hit an out route or a touch pass most weeks, and now he's completing 70 % of his passes? No one could have predicted that. All hail Frost and Verduzco.
I still wasn't sold on him during the FIU game when wide-open receivers were waiting on the ball when only 35-40 yards down field. I have seen improvement in his ability to get the ball downfield and in stride in just the past few games alone. The final two games of this season should tell us if he's elite or not.
i believe him yo Really, everything I’ve ever heard him say leads me to believe that Frost’s biggest factor is easy access to the type of recruits he needs to run his system
Don't think he's turning Nebraska down to stay at UCF. On top of being his home and where everything started for him we just have way more to offer.
Can we not go through this again like we have the past page or two? We get it you’re a in a P5 with more money and that he played at. We think he may stay or wait for other offers. Let’s move on and not rehash this again please and thank you.
I don’t think he’d turn it down to stay at UCF, I think he’d turn it down to wait for a job with a better chance of him being successful at. That’s what he did when he was a coordinator at Oregon. You think we were the first G5 school to offer him his first head coaching job?
FYI both points of view are very much in play, and arguably more likely than one over the other. Firing Riley might wait until next year (pretty good chance if we go 6-6 or better). If that’s the case, hopefully Frost is finishing up a second undefeated season for you guys, and you can then hate us forever.
I would be very ok with Chins taking over. “It’s an assignment every game. I don’t just tell them to do whatever the hell they want every other opponent we play. So I don’t understand how it’s different from regular football. It’s a different offense, absolutely … but it’s football, so let’s go play football. We’re really good at playing football right now. Let’s go do that.”
I hate the trend that so many courts are doing with that bottom 1/3 silhouette thing. I guess they view it as a billboard for TV purposes or whatever. It looks terrible everywhere.
Man. What the fuck. #Nebraska Cornhuskers why didn't you hire this man away before he could do this to our court.
The Corn Court idea has already been pitched and tossed, so we moved on to our next candidate. Sorry guys.
Orlando's hometown team works for us in football but Orlando's hometown basketball team is the Magic. We have the Disney World castle on there too. Damn I just hate it.
It's really a subliminal message to Frost on what he would give up leaving Orlando for the cornfields. Danny is a genius.
I wonder how Tacko's stamina will be this year? Last year we had some guys to spare him, but this season we only have AJ Davis, Rokas, Tacko, and Chad Brown to play 4 and 5. I guess Aubrey Dawkins can take some minutes at the 4 when needed.
