I would be ok without the coasters, but remember the idea is it stand out on TV. It will do that and tell every high schooler watching...Oh Hey UCF has rollercoasters and palm trees...I want to go there. I wonder what the other options pitched included... mouse ears? Epoct ball, Hogwarts express?
https://www.si.com/college-football/video/2017/10/18/dearandy-would-scott-frost-leave-ucf-nebraska It's almost like people who have listened to Scott Frost the past 2 seasons know what the hell we are talking about.
Must be embarrassing to be considered no better than UCF when you have national titles. I guess not winning a conference title since the 90s will do that to a program.
All of those articles mean nothing for the simple fact it's his alma mater. For a lot of people, that can trump quite a lot of other shortcomings. Can you argue UCF is a better job in 2017? I mean, sure, people are doing it in the articles. But without getting into it, I don't think it matters.
Banyard and Tank. Dawkins will likely take most minutes at 3, so we only have one back up at each position. I guess Brown and Rokas can spare Fall instead of just Brown like last year.
Last year we had what 7 guys total? I think we'll be ok this year if they could get by without any backups last year.
Looking at the roster I would guess it looks something like BJ, Dayon Griffin Dawkins AJ Tacko Terrell Allen, Chance, Dejesus backing up the guard spots Hopefully the 2 freshman can back up Dawkins Brown and Rokas back up the bigs We should be able to throw many different combos at people and have more than enough talent on the bench for depth.
Scott Frost donated his own money to the football excellence fund and went on the radio today and said he was doing it to "keep the band together." No one expected him to do that and no one would have thought anything of him not doing that. Sounds like he's already decided to leave.
I do wonder what his dream job is. Probably something like UF or USC or something where it is easy to recruit and have a clear path to the title. Although dealing with Saban for at least a few more years would keep me out of the SEC.
UF would be a good guess. Same benefits as ucf as far as recruiting, weather, and no state income tax. He's also recently married and just moved her across the country so I can't imagine he'd be too eager to do that again so soon.
Their signature drink at their wedding was a Bellini. He is staying in the south. Sidenote - That wedding looks fabulous https://www.brides.com/story/mountain-paradise-valley-arizona-wedding-ideas-amy-and-jordan
In a game where neither team can stop each other in the 2nd half Houston punts on 4 and inches. You deserve to lose.
I highly doubt that is his ‘dream job.’ His dream job is to come back to Nebraska and win a national title, the question remains, ‘is that the easiest thing to do for a national title?’ His dream job isn’t those schools, it’s to win, it simply comes down to if he believes he can do it at Nebraska.
Todd Graham did the same thing. Good company for coaches that are steadfast in their commitment to THEIR program.
Dammit frost just liked some sean hannity bullshit tweet about a Clinton conspiracy theory. Was hoping he wasn't one of those guys.
It's not surprising but it is disappointing. Wasn't expecting him to be full woke but as a younger dude who works full time with young black men, you'd think his perspective would change as he grew up.
You can keep him. You can take the man out of Nebraska but you can't take the Nebraska out of the man. Smh
I totally forgot about Nick. Brown should hopefully have improved and be able to contribute more. Pretty sure Aubrey can also play as a 4 so I think we'll be fine.
#Nebraska Cornhuskers since you have a bye I assume you will be watching the premier 3:30 EDT game and joining our circle jerk?
I deal with Raytheon in Tucson quite a bit and those commie Arizonans don’t believe in dst so it’s always a point of emphasis for me
