I'm expecting us to be bad still. I just can't find a way to make a positive out of what I saw of Milton last year and then our second team beating our first team in the spring game. The road back from 0-12 is long so media saying 2nd in the east seems like a stretch. Having accepted that I'm just ready to watch some games.
I'm willing to give Milton the benefit of being a true freshman with a terrible line last year and am interested to see if he has made progress with another year in the system and a (hopefully) much improved line. I think we will do better then last year but I think we're still another season or 2 from what Frost is trying to do. 7 wins, maybe 8 I too am pretty psyched to go watch some football
i really liked him but he was kind of a screw-up. him and our current #1 corner got suspended a couple years ago for a misdemeanor assault. then left the program for personal reasons. i believe it was because of a questionable sexual assault allegation that was thrown out but the student conduct board had already kicked him out by that point so it is a pretty sore subject for us. we have pretty good corners and he would definitely start for us this year so yeah he is really good. should be a good return man too Shiggityshwo can correct me if i am wrong
If Adrian Killins isn't returning all of our kicks then our coaches are retarded. We lost our entire secondary and our best corner is suspended 6 games so he could find time quickly.
Oh fuck yea that's exactly what we needed. Guard and Corner seem to be what we are missing in having a pretty balanced roster. If Parker can get his waiver we might just be there.
That Guard from ND is hoping for a waiver to play this year. If Milton is half way decent our team should be loaded.

We are. And the rest of the AAC (sans USF) makes up the next 11 or 12 entries - Maryland slipped in there in the top 13 somewhere. After that, it should spell AAC POOWER (sic) with the first letter of each team. Someone slipped Ohio in there and gave it an extra 'O'. It's actually probably more appropriate that way.
I don't really see any way that goes away. It's just how he throws. The more important thing is that he sets his feet which has been a pretty huge problem for him. He also had some shoulder or elbow pain in the middle of last season that has supposedly gone away. He's never going to be a great QB, but he's a placeholder for now until Mack, Vedral, or the kid that is committed from Michigan or whatever are ready to take over the position. That may not be all that long given the reports that Vedral and Mack are both coming on well. I wouldn't be surprised if next year there is noise about those guys taking the starting job. The bigger issue for us is going to be whether our OL (and specifically, the guards) can play well enough to have a run game that can win us 7-8 games this year.
Yeah I'd imagine Milton ends up as the Hawaii QB in a year or two. Be nice if he stepped up but at this point just any QB doing so would be nice. Would be great if that ND transfer is allowed to play.
