Coach Zo? I like him and think he was just part of a bad overall staff. He can recruit and motivate, but unsure of X and O stuff for him though.
Sources tell me Mario Cristobal has spoken with Miami & possibly will be named Wr Coach, Recruiting Coordinator & Associate Head Coach (via @CANEINSIDER)
Decent hire. Probably the best coach on our 2012 staff (although that doesn't really mean much considering how bad our staff was)
Big East wanted $300 MILLION per year from ESPN during the exclusive negotiating window. The Pac-12 is getting $250MM for comparison sake. http://www.awfulannouncing.com/2013...tml?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I am 99% sure this number was the idea of Genshaft and Boise State - the two parties delusional enough to think they are worth that much.
I don't believe a single ESPN article about the big east anymore. They're only trying to bring us down more and more.
CBS is the article that reported it...although i would assume ESPN (cough...McMurphy...cough) is the source there.
The @ucf_mbasketball team plays tonight! We have a special game at the knightspromos table too, don't miss it! http://ow.ly/i/1lMoT Cokeskurpee711 running knightspromos twitter?
I like to think that UCFProf is the greatest troll ever rather than think that there could be a professor of his intelligence teaching at my alma mater. UCFProf Post #856 MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Re: New Conference Reply Why not join a basketball-only conference such as the one with all the expatriots super-teams from the Big East? Then either move to independent like the two military academies and ND. That's what Notre Dame did. Alternatively, push with USF for entry to the Big 12 on a football/baseball only basis? 1/9 11:54 AM | IP: Logged
dodd and mcmurphy are super buddy-buddy from what i've seen on their twitters. wouldn't doubt it for a second. 20.8 mil for pac 12 per year. the big east (if this is accurate and assuming it was for 14 teams and not 16 including byu, boise, louisville, rutgers, catholic 7) was asking for 5.29 mil for basketball schools, 15 mil for football only, and 20.29 for all sports. so technically a little less than the pac 12 but right up there with the top college football teams. that is ridiculous. that said, i've read that aresco likely pitched the final offer knowing espn wouldn't take it so that they could take it to open market and get a better deal than whatever espn was likely to offer (10-11 mil per year?). that backfired.
Oh hey we best uab because they went 0-twentyfuckingthree from 3. First time since 96 uab didn't have a 3 pointer. Yikes.
lol there's a thread in the dungeon right now titled "rod days shot?" some jackass put that as the title and proceeds to ask what happened to his skills in the game. everyone wtfing. pretty funny.
I am the new guy still on the team after 3 years and we for too many dudes as it is. The league is looking for 1 more team for their Thursday night. Cool teams and pretty good skill. 8Coed.com
2Poor The Big East will make a serious push to keeping San Diego State as a member in football and it will also focus on adding Tulsa as member in all sports according to sources familiar with the overall planning the conference is making to restructure its future. Big East commissioner Mike Aresco will meet with Big East Presidents and Athletic Directors at an airport hotel in Dallas on Friday to discuss the overall strategy. With Boise State gone, Aresco is looking for another “western” based team, with Air Force and BYU the obvious main targets, but Tulsa has emerged as another contender as an all sports member. Aresco might have to do some selling since Tulsa reportedly was luke warm to the idea when first approached by the Big East earlier last fall. The Big East then switched its focus to Tulane, which will join the conference as a full member in 2014.
Just spent the last half hour laughing in the GOAT drive thru prank thread. About halfway through the 8 minute clip I realized the dude doing the pranks is doing some of them on the Memory Mall. Dude is hilarious.
Taking season off but will hopefully have time to be back for the next season. You actually now in Orlando more?
yeah. thinking i might just signup as an individual on orlando sport and social and take whatever placement they hand down since season starts next week. is comp or rec more fun? i haven't played in that league in like 5 years.
Mr. Knightman Post #10293 O-town MyFanPage Add Buddy Ignore Would you find this funny or entertaining? Reply Imagine at basketball games, football games and even baseball games about 5-10 people dressed as Black and Gold Jesters. They would do simple, 100% harmless "mascot-like" pranks on opponent team's fans (like mocking them, following them, etc). Would you get a kick out of a Jester following an opponent fan who would be oblivious to it? I would...it would create nothing but laughs and people will watch. The opponent team's fans would be embarrassed, but will laugh also... There is an idea brewing in the fan-base concerning this, particularly students, in an attempt to bring more of a "medieval festival" environment and tradition themselves since UCFAA will not embrace it....
UCF fans..complain about lack of recognition...recommend gimmicky shit that minor league hockey teams wouldnt even consider.
Yeah, you get 8 a side, 5 guys 3 ladies. hardly ever scoreless, we usually score 3-4 a game and we give up 0.5 a game, we are a better team out there. Most scores are 2-3, 1-2 .
softball a few months a year, cornhole leauge, did volleyball once, but I'm shot. Thinking of playing kickball sometime soon.
Says the fat loser who can't keep up... Seriosuly though, we'll kick your ass on the field then give you a beer walking off. We only have issues with this one Mexican team.
