Thank you man, I'll definitely take them, I'm thinking even if the ex has holiday plans for the kid I can invite my old man up to go with me.
We should be good, Plumlee is probably going to be the QB1, he's exactly the kind of quarterback Gus excels with. Did you see the season preview Mix posted from The Athletic on the team board?
I have an extremely optimistic view this year. We TONS of good RBs, a fast running QB, we are pretty good in the WR department. Offense is gonna come down to O-line play. We will have blowouts and shootouts, but we put points on the board this year
WR does look good, lots of experience too. Would expect to see the TEs catch a lot this year too. I see they moved Gatewood to WR, let's hope we never ever see him line up at QB again. That leaves just three QBs on the roster, have to assume Castellanos will be QB3 and compete with Keene for starter next year
If he can thrive in this offense boy we might not get crushed year one of B12. Talent level has to keep climbing but a few big transfers and develop some depth and this could be really fun.
nice, i was thinking he had one year, love it, assuming another SEC team doesn't try to snatch him in the portal after the season.
Feels like this is the best roster and coaching staff we may have ever had and our conference should be wide open. Just got to have a QB step up or not suck.
Need these 2 dudes and get are local recruiting moment back. Would be 2 of our highest ranked recruits ever.
43 in state losses in that timeframe feels like not something they would normally brag about, even not considering the record just vs ucf.
Well it was fun thinking we were going to be in a P5 while it lasted. Feels like the big 12 is going to be raided again
college football sucks if you weren’t already part of the club less into the sport than ever and that is with UCF being above average the last 5 years
I don't know if the Pac-12 will go to the Big 12 for teams honestly. They may want BYU but who else would they want to take? I can see them taking Nevada and San Diego State before they go to the Texas teams left in the B12. If this had happened when Texas and Oklahoma were available then sure but I don't see it now.
The end game is and always has been a 64 team league that has nothing to do with the NCAA. All of this is musical chairs until then.
Maybe we will get in a conference with our true school rival. Arizona State vs UCF is a perfect mirror imaging of schools
Doubt they will make an aggressive move like that with Bowlsby on his way out but maybe they will surprise us. Not the teams I would choose other than Utah, but they make the most sense geographically and getting to 16 seems the smart play right now.
Decided to go read. They really think despite being one of 3 schools demoted in the Big East collapse, then being passed by the B12 they are now going to be the most desired school by the ACC or B10. Fucking insane. If the B12 adds PAC schools its 100% over for them forever. Their only hope is PAC takes B12 schools.
One guy was like thank god we didn't go to the Big 12 and in a better position than us. Delusions all over that site
We're not going to see the ACC membership change for 6-10 years minimum. And once it does its going to just get fucking pillaged to the ground.
We have to root for Wash/Ore to the B1G? That pretty much crushes the PAC since they have no obvious expansion candidates and I would assume a merger happens because they won't let like Wash St/ Ore St to die.
In a word, yes. The article I read was that they are already looking at expansion plans, so if Oregon and Washington don't go to the B10 and if the B12 doesn't act fast and take the Arizonas/Colorado/Utah, then I think the Pac12 takes SDSU and another school, maybe Boise, to stay afloat.
Holy shit this just came across my fyp. Do y’all remember this guy at ucf? I knew his brother…upper crust Jewish kids from west palm rapping about growing up in the trailer park . Last I saw they were performing at low rate strip clubs. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRRXHyMu/?k=1
This seems real dumb For now, there is no interest from the Big 12 to take any Pac-12 schools. When a chance presented itself Thursday for the Big 12 board of directors to discuss these developments, one high-ranking Big 12 official said, "Why?" That doesn't mean the Arizona schools may not eventually migrate to the new Big 12. There may be some value with the Phoenix market and being able to expand the conference's membership to 14. It does mean there is a reckoning coming for the Pac-12 where -- for the most part -- the appetite for football pales in comparison to the rest of the country. "We're not obsessed with that right now," said Lawrence Schovanek, president of Texas Tech, when asked about realignment on Wednesday, "but nobody has said having 12 members in the Big 12 is the magic number."
I doubt they are completely uninterested. All the deals are done behind closed doors. B12 will say they arnt expanding until the day other schools are confirmed joining.
If that is true they are stupid as hell. Get to poaching now and you cement yourself as the #3 league.
Snatch up as many PAC schools as you can, get a TV deal with Google/YouTube and we can have the Fox, ESPN, YouTube conferences
They are “uninterested” in it the same why I’m “uninterested” if my wife asks if I’d smash whoever she is pointing out if her and I weren’t married
it’s all just so simple! Cubanbull Posted 15 hours ago Content Count: 5,823 Joined: 12/23/2001 If this ends up being true and ND heads for Big with Oregon, Washington and one more PAC school. Then that’s the end of the PAC. The Big12 would probably add the Arizona schools,Utah and Colorado. Now the ball turns to ACC, they can’t wait until 2036, they need to open that contract by adding schools and going to uneven payments. WV and USF would be their best bets. If WV balks then Memphis and USF
Adding teams doesn't end the GOR, the new teams just have to agree to it too. They aren't going to make their TV deal even worse by adding USF.
If this was anyone other than the Big12 i'd say they were just holding their cards close, but honestly, them saying "why would we be thinking of expanding" is perfectly in line with the last 10 years of their existence. I've never seen a bigger group of risk-averse, backward-thinking, victims in waiting than those fucks. I'm truly shocked they invited our 4 schools to be honest, it was the only smart thing they had done and it was just because they truly had no choice for their mere existence. Ask them to make a smart move that makes their conference better, not just to exist? "Why?" is the answer. Unbelievable but yet completely believable.
