devine texted me “poorly coached teams finds ways to lose” and I can’t really think of a better way to describe the Gus era.
Just 3 dumbass mistakes back to back to back. Blocked punt and failure to fair catch are both on the players. forcing your freshman QB into a bad situation so he throws a pick 6 is on the coaches.
I don't even know of a single up and coming offensive coach out there if he does leave. Hope we don't let someone on staff get it.
I feel like there always used to be 5-10 innovative OCs who were the hot names. I’m def less invested in CFB now than when I was in my 20s, but still. I honestly don’t know anyone.
Maybe Matt Campbell wanting a better recruiting footprint? Possibly delusional but w the conference tag the job is even more attractive. The Frost hire threw people off and that was coming off 0 wins
I like Sumrall at Tulane but want to see him there for 2-3 years to make sure hes not just coasting off Fritz and he is a defensive guy. Vincent at Louisiana-Monroe is interesting but also a few years away. Same with Chesney at JMU.
He also had two years at Troy with 10+ wins, if I recall. And his QB (Mensah) is a true freshman, I believe.
About god damn time. I don't see why folks were still on twitter in the first place. it's just a nazi message board at this point
Haven’t joined Bluesky yet but the UCF football account has regularly posted during the season on Threads. But college football media in general UCF and everyone else refuse to leave Twitter
Considering the kinds of personalities that typically work in college football at that level I'm not surprised...
I get enough nba, soccer, and nfl news on threads but CFB won’t budge and it is probably bc they all love Elon.
I really like bluesky, been on there a while now. I just searched UCF and this is the top post. NOOOOO https://bsky.app/profile/loza3.bsky.social/post/3lakv2qjjdp2u
Threads moved way too fast into some weird “what if twitter was LinkedIn” and none of the good organic content made its way to threads. bluesky looks like it’s finally drawing the people I liked most on twitter
it should be better, with it connected to Instagram. But all I’ve come across is engagement farming and rage bait
