It’s spring so that’s what I would expect tbh. If this was fall camp I’d be more worried about Gus gussing
From what I’ve heard, none of the QBs are really standing out at this point. JRP is JRP. Castellanos is improved but still not a B12 caliber QB, and McClain has been okay but behind Castellanos. I suspect McClain is a game day QB, which might make it hard for him to get on the field. At this point, I wouldn’t be shocked if Hinshaw asks Gus to flirt with some portal options before fall.
It's not going to be a fun year if JRP is QB1 but I have a feeling were looking at big xii level deficiency in several positions.
the only thing that gives me hope is that the big xii isn't known for high powered offense so we should be ok if we don't score much.
All I've heard is the team came back in pretty poor shape overall so first day of camp wasn't great. But apparently Rubelt might actually be good for a giant.
I've heard great things about the RBs and the DL. Outside of that, we're weak at QB, LB, and DB. I think our OL will actually be okay'ish.
Get excited for the baseball rumors to hit the fan the next few days. Lovelady was finally asked about it by Trace Trylko, and Greg basically had to admit that yea we had at least one player doctoring bats. There have been rumbling for a few weeks now about doctored bats, PED use, and Adderall use. At least one player was suspended, but Lovelady is trying to handle this all "internally." He's a dead man walking.
what else does Terry need to fire him? that interview should be enough to do it before the season ends
This might be a stretch becuase of Kevin Smith, but Demarkus has the chance to be the greatest RB to put on a UCF jersey. This dude is on a different level
When is the next window open? I don't blame him, he was not going to be feature back here so get the money.
People paying a "bag" for a RB? Why can't we just put the money together for a quarterback if it's that simple?
Can’t wait for all the “omg JRP going from the baseball game straight to football game!” hoopla in my timeline tonight.
It’s already open. I’m guessing he goes into the portal immediately after. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s one or two more who do the same. There’s a lot of tampering out there.
get that it is their right but it makes following the Program more tough as a fan. He was so fun to watch last year when QB play was bad
If you aren't the UGA or Bamas of the world you aren't keeping stars for 3 years probably ever again. Even they will lose guys to some big bags elsewhere.
Here is what I heard tonight Castellanos/TMC split reps in the "1st quarter" Plumlee showed up and took the majority after that splitting with Castellanos. Bowman looked really really good. Heard it was a waste of time and very dumb and gimmicky.
It must be good business to be a “college kid statement graphic designer” because none of these guys say things without it being laid out like an ad.
Dear UCF fans and supporters, It is with a heavy heart that I announce my decision to enter the transfer portal and leave UCF's football program.
