Inter v real and raul v barca are just too good of storylines to pass up. Spurs are going to get matched with an english team and the other english team will face shakhtar. Jmo. I would love to see barca have to travel to ukraine though.

They draw numbered balls like the lotto in case you were wondering. In the round of 16, the 8 group winners are matched up with the 8 teams that were the runner up in their respective groups. You can't draw the other team that advanced from your group or a club from your country. Once you're into the quarterfinals (round of 8) its totally random and you could draw any of the other remaining 7 teams. For example, this year Arsenal were the runner up in their group. When they did the draw for the round of 16, Arsenal had to be matched up against a team that a) won it's group b) wasn't from England c) wasn't the team that won their group (Shakhtar Donetsk). I just looked at the results, and every team who played at home the 2nd leg advanced except for last years finalist Bayern (they were beaten by last years winners, inter) 1 team advanced by 4 goals (shahktar) 1 by 3 (real) 2 by 2 (schalke and chelsea) 3 by 1 (tottenham, United, Barcelona) 1 by Away goals (inter)

yes I do (born, raised, always lived and from two dutch parents) with regards to the draw I believe the only thing is that two teams from the same country can not play eachother.

Schalke are better than Shaktar. Don't be deceived by their poor performance in the BL this year. They have a decent amount of talent. I watched the Schalke-Bayern DFB Cup game a few weeks ago and they looked much better against Bayern than Inter did. They also just knocked out the 3rd place team in La Liga. Inter are obviously going to be the favorites, but Schalke is definitely capable of winning.

he has weird moments but there arent that many keepers that can win you games and he can. (plus PSV was champions every single year he was here)
