Been thinking about this for a little bit since it got teased. if we hire Mack Brown it’ll be the last hire our Bubba Cunningham makes as AD. There’s no way our program has fallen so far that we need to bring back a retread like Mack who likely does’t have the connections to make the right coordinator hires. We need someone with a presence who can identify and train talented coaches. Mack’s a great guy, but the game has passed him by and I’ll be very disappointed if he’s the choice unless Bubba is personally going to find and hire an OC/DC.

Leach, per a source with knowledge of his situation, is hoping Kentucky coach Mark Stoops leaves for North Carolina after the season, opening the Wildcats' gig. Leach is, I'm told, already lobbying for that post if it becomes available. He very much wants one shot in the SEC.
