4 star db, seems like it's been ages since we've gotten one of those (my apologies to any recent 4 star db's reading this thread who I may have forgotten, it's not you it's me) can't wait for the day when we get one of those in linebacker form
WC Russellin4885 Tangman does pnc have metal detectors? never been to a college game that does but idk if the pro arena changes things. trying to figure out if i should go with a flask or mini bottles
the way they were flexing his foot made me wonder if this could be the case, then thought the worst when he went back to the locker room I will pray too
lmao the best state team in years got worked without our best player. god bless you state fans for faithfully supporting this garbage
Starting to wonder if the light's gonna turn on for Nas this year, still doesn't look comfortable at all or capable of attacking against college defenses. Thought it was pretty telling that Robinson was on the floor in the closing minutes last night. It would be fine if this resulted in a second year, but oad based off reputation despite collegiate output would basically be worse than not landing him in the first place.
in all seriousness, i loved it. the atmosphere was amazing and the place was electric all game. 10/10 would bang again
everyone around me was nice and joking back and forth. one guy did keep yelling "they've been cheating for 30 years!" after every call we got. other than that it was more than pleasant
Shame how 2019 recruiting has gone so far. Really thought we had turned the corner with the sanctions and stuff and would have lined up a nice class.
still lots of time. bacot is elite and we're still the favorites for cole anthony. long way to go with guys like hurt, precious and edwards too missing on guys like mann and boogie while having francis knees short out is where it hurts. needed a 2-3 year depth guy at guard. biggest recruit probably is coby coming back next year
I’ve been a UNC fan my entire life and watch most of their games. I played 4 years in college and am a coach. So i think I know the game pretty well. I know Roy is catching a lot of shit with regard to Little but I’m not seeing why. Little is not as good as I expected him to be. At least not right now. He looks to me to be very raw as a player. He is tremendously athletic and competitive but I’ve seen nothing that leads me to believe he should have ever been considered a OAD. He doesn’t shoot it particularly well and really isn’t smooth yet as a player. He is a kid who looks like he has to force offense instead of it flowing naturally. Look at him compared to Barrett or Zion. Both of those kids do things much more smoothly and efficiently that Little does offensively and that’s with Zion being a below average shooter as well. Little doesn’t even know how to attack the basket cleanly and when not to. I don’t see that as a scheme issue...that is a basketball IQ thing. I will say that Defensively he is outstanding and he will be a beast in that end of the floor. There is nothing wrong with him being a 2 or 3 year player. He has to learn some of the subtleties of the game that he clearly does not understand, use, or grasp yet. He would have been exposed as not NBA ready no matter where he attended college. It’s just at UNC it is magnified because of the well known sentiments with Roy and OADs.
Agree with all of this. At this point Roy's gonna take heat no matter what happens with Nas, even if he somehow breaks out this year it'll just be "oh see he should've been starting Nas from game 1." So since that OAD selling point ship has already sailed, I'm hoping he recognizes these areas of needed improvement and comes back for a soph year, which Nas has always said isn't out of the question, although to me it seemed like he was just saying the right thing at the time. I just hope it doesn't end up being a case of Nas struggling all the way through and still declaring.
