wake has a good coach but they lose like 11 starters. beat app and split the miami/sc games. easy peasey
I will be there. I expect it to be a noon ACC network kickoff. Second Clemson @ UNC game since 2002. Weirdly, UNC has played @ Clemson a bunch more times since then (2003, 2006, 2011, and 2014).
i will be there. 3-1 is gonna be tough but i think if we're there and yall are still #1, its gonna be gameday. seriously look at this terrible power 5 slate that weekend USC at Washington Iowa State at Baylor Kansas at TCU Kansas State at Oklahoma State Texas Tech at Oklahoma Delaware at Pit Stanford at Oregon State UCLA at Arizona Washington State at Utah Mississippi State at Auburn NIU at Vanderbilt NC State at Florida State Ole Miss at Alabama Kentucky at South Carolina Georgia Tech at Temple Holy Cross at Syracuse Indiana at Michigan State Middle Tennessee at Iowa Virginia at Notre Dame Minnesota at Purdue Northwestern at Wisconsin Ohio State at Nebraska Rutgers at Michigan Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Towson at Florida Wake Forest at Boston College
yeah that's it. i have no illusions about our chances against yall but a night game with gameday in town and the campus buzzing would be so much fun
I would rather pick up dad in Carrboro at 11:00, head to the Jones Ferry park and ride, and be sitting down with a beef master frank at 11:50. But alas, if UNC can start the season well I think we will probably play a later game.
dang I didn't even notice Seventh got no burn in the 2nd half and only 4 minutes overall, the gap's really widening with Coby coming on strong and Seventh seemingly regressing
Not sure how quickly Mac can coach this team up but I think your going to lose to App State. That’s a really good football team with a stud at QB
carry that energy to the 2nd half and let this be the first step to peak play, although you probably could say it started the 2nd half against Miami if this keeps up
he does that every time someone makes a big play. he gets so excited to see his teammates do well. god i hope he stays one more year just bc i love him so much
I'd still be shocked if we don't get a soph year out of him, won't let myself think about the backcourt dream team quite yet though
Lots of speculation he wants a better job and this is going to be the best Tech team he’s going to have for a long while. Tons of staff turnover to lateral jobs at Texas schools, particularly at A&M. Entire 2019 class decommitter in one day a while back. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in the Big XII next year.
it's amazing what Nas's shot looks like when he's not forcing up garbage also Roy was definitely trying to hide a smile after that first 3 dropped
They’ve stocked back up since them but that was alarming. The speculation about him leaving is mostly circumstantial and probably a heavy dose of UVA bias in what I’ve heard.
We are close to the time of year where Roy starts to trim the rotation which hopefully means Seventh Woods gets a few minutes on senior day and that is about it. I have to imagine its all mental but he is just a mess. How many times has he tried to dribble through a full court press leading to a layup the other way. No shot, no real vision. Leaky should get his minutes as the season closes out, he is at least composed and is a sneaky good defender with his length. If Nas has really figured it out, this teams ceiling is final 4 instead of second weekend. Every big game will still come down to whether Coby has a good game which is a lot of pressure for a freshman who is expected to be a volume scorer and play maker. I guess that has more or less been the case with all Roy's teams. Great PG play and the final 4 is in play.
Don't believe Woods is a senior. And it is pretty shocking how bad he is. I realize he will probably score 20 on us now after I said that.
idk man sev first half was a huge reason why this game turned around. he was incredible on defense. i agree he’s shaky af but tonight was an argument in favor of him which sounds crazy maybe try playing him with leaky or coby on occasion
