bring $80 just to be safe but i think you'll be fine getting in if you wait it out right up to kickoff
I mean stub hub hasnt really come down much and im kicking around just driving up. I know people are in town for late night with roy so i figured it might be a bit tougher to grab a ticket. Also, i dont have a problem dropping $200 total for 2 tickets because Charlotte last week was getting that at Clemson.
the price for App St tickets dropped considerably in the hours leading up to the game last week, I'd imagine the same will happen tomorrow
if you're willing to do that, i definitely wouldn't worry. just enjoy franklin and head towards kenan around 2:45ish and just start walking around. start at the bell tower and keep an eye out
awkward silence during the contests combined with obviously zero knowledge of the players and inability to even read their names properly is exactly what you want in the mc's for an already lame event
Good game fellas. Bateman called a hell of a game. Thought we missed some plays but so did yall. Was surprised Longo didnt take more shots with Howell.
GT got smoked by Temple, this is about as good of a rebound attempt heading into the bye as we could hope for
I have a somewhat dream scenario of Bateman being the guy who takes over for Mack in about 4-5 years, yeah it's obviously premature to crown him like that, but the guy screams head coach material to me
Idk how he would do as a HC, but pay him as much as we can because he is about to have a bunch of people come calling (ala veneables at Clemson). He is one of the pioneers is position less football (basically you don’t know where fourth rusher is coming from, Aranda at LSU is another.) He made the number one team’s OL look stupid all day.
Also not a 1 game reaction, respected the fuck out of him at Army. Guy is one of the best DCs in the game.
I just think he has the attention to detail/communication skills/demeanor to be a head coach down the road, have a hard time believing his teams wouldn't play disciplined too. Of course this all assumes continued growth and probably further experience at a bigger program or even HC at a G5 or something, I'd be shocked if we're able to hold on to him for more than two years.
I totally agree. What I don’t think UNC fans appreciates is what an awesome job he has actually done this season. The overall depth and talent simply isn’t there, he is doing everything with smoke and mirrors (only makes the job he is doing more impressive). Somehow, someway we need to find a way to keep him. Right now, he is a hot DC and continued success will have people calling. I’m not big into HCIW titles, but Mack has a short window. Recruiting is starting to pick up and success on field will follow, would love to keep it rolling with him next in line.
I didn't notice this during the game, but in the 2nd half he had Strowbridge/Crawford sitting on 1st and 2nd downs to keep them fresh and give us the most pop on 3rd
Happy Caleb Love Day guys, I've watched more highlights in anticipation because I like to live dangerously
we could miss out on every other target and i would still be thrilled with this class but ziaire is next
sounding like Cam'Ron's expected to be out for a bit, and Wolfolk apparently had surgery last week so who knows when he can get back to action on the bright side though this secondary really looks like it could be something in a year or two
really makes me nervous that mack is upset with the effort in practice. i know we're due for a bit of a letdown post clemson and everyone is looking forward to the bye week. but we really can't afford to lose this next one. beat gt, get healthy-ish over the bye and we're in the drivers seat for a bowl game as well as a legit coastal shot.
It was bound to happen. Lot of what could have been. Also how is Mcmichael looking up there for yall?
Yeah I was really expecting last week's showing combined with the two poor efforts in the previous games after lackluster practices would have them locked in this week. We'll see Saturday I guess.
believe some of the players admitted that they didnt take wake and app as seriously as they did miami and sc and clemson thanks larry for that awesome culture you instilled. not a long term worry because mack will get that shit weeded out but it does scare me against georgia t i will be thrilled about a bowl game. but winning this technically gives us control of our own destiny in the coastal. just give me meaningful games in october and november. that uva game should be pretty fun if we handle things that we should handle (especially with how awful virginia t looks)
We did just have a longtime CB decommit though and it's been described as a mutual thing so I'd imagine that at least partially explains how the staff views McMichael
Yeah that's what I was getting at, they've seen who they can lose to (hell they have two years of experience with that but whatever) when they overlook an opponent. Will say though that I think Wake is also just legitimately good. Just really glad it's GT this week
so is app st imo they have a very good chance of getting the G5 at large bid for a ny6 game. have a very good shot of running the table or at worst end with one loss doesnt make either loss any less frustrating since we just slept walked for large portions of the game
Yeah but there's still no excuse for spending the majority of that game getting whipped in the trenches
team could easily be 0-4 and easily be 4-0 just get to 3-3 heading into the bye and win 2 of duke, state, va tech, pitt, uva and let's go bowling
good to get the drops out of the system early, also good to see such a terrible throw when your db gets burned so badly
