good news guys the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is now being replayed on espnnews, you know in case you missed all the action
some nice time is a flat circle'n both starting and ending his career in Charlotte against South Carolina
Any of you wine and cheesers going to the holes cocks Mayo bowl? Thinking of doing NYE in Charleston with some college friends since I’m newly single. Thinking I’m going to fly into Charlotte the day before the game. Rent a car and drive to Charleston after the game. What sayeth you Tarheel posters? Shall any of you wish drink and make merry with a foe before we flail and trip over ourselves in desperation for one of the world’s truly worst condiments?
british brooks returning next year he looked really good against state. at worst that's some good depth. decent chance he starts
heh, was coming to post that, funny how a few weeks ago this news would've been met with crickets but now I'm kinda pumped about it
mack says sam still hasnt made an NFL decision either. not gonna get my hopes up but something to monitor i guess
at the very least I just got a nice dopamine hit allowing myself to think about it, not bad on a dreary Wednesday morning
i still think he goes but i do think there is a very real chance he stays. maybe like 40% or something don't think its out of the realm of possibility at all especially now that he's playing the bowl game
Thought this was a pretty interesting article: Mack Brown Wants to Be More Aggressive with 'Crazy' Transfer Portal https://247sports.com/college/north...re-Aggressive-with-Transfer-Portal-177765348/ Few key highlights: "So we are looking at the positions of need for us. We're looking at what high school players can come in January or June and help fill those needs, but we're also looking more aggressively at the portal every day. We have people that check it every day. And it's amazing how many are popping out. And really good players." Based on the 2021 season, the Tar Heels need help at center. They could use a dynamic deep threat wide receiver to complement Josh Downs (UNC lost Khafre Brown and Emery Simmons to the transfer portal during the 2021 season). UNC doesn't have a placekicker set for next season. And effective pass rushers are always a highly desired commodity.
think the energy's at least better than what we usually see during the sleepy post-finals game, lot of highly contested buckets for them settling too much
years ago during his freshman year, i bet a buddy that sev would never average more than dex’s best season (7.2). thought it was in the bag and then covid happened and he transferred to a terrible team and he’s still terrible but averaging 6.8. gonna be something to watch for the rest of the year
some portal notes from the scoop: Spoiler * As reported on Saturday, three transfer recruits -- offensive lineman Corey Gaynor (Miami), defensive back Karon Prunty (South Carolina/Kansas), and edge rusher Noah Taylor (UVa) -- officially visited UNC this past weekend. All three, per a source, intend on enrolling at their new college in January. While others are recruiting the trio, UNC is believed to be the only program that any of the trio have visited since entering the Transfer Portal. Moreover, this past weekend's visit is likely their last, since we're amid a Dead Period that lasts until mid-January. Before suffering a season-ending injury in September, Gaynor had started 28 games at center over five years for Miami. The 6-foot-4, 308-pounder has one year of eligibility remaining. As a true freshman during the 2020 season, Prunty started all nine of Kansas's games at cornerback. There he broke up 10 passes, intercepted a pass, and made 26 tackles. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder, who has four years of eligibility, transferred to South Carolina last offseason but never played for the Gamecocks. Over four seasons, Taylor has appeared in 44 games -- with 31 starts at outside linebacker -- for UVa where he accumulated 170 tackles, including 30 for a loss and 13.5 sacks. The 6-foot-5, 235-pounder has one year of eligibility left. * The aforementioned trio aren't, of course, the only transfers UNC has been in touch with. From what I've gathered from multiple sources, the following are also on the Heels' radar: Ajou Ajou (WR, Clemson), Sione Finau (OL, FIU), Frank Ladson (WR, Clemson), Olusegun Oluwatimi (OL, UVa), Spencer Rolland (OL, Harvard), Deion Smith (WR, LSU), and Jared Verse (DE, Albany). Stacy Searels, UNC's offensive line coach, visited with Rolland last week, the offensive lineman told me. "It went really well," Rolland said. "We talked for an hour and a half. He wants me to visit in January to see the campus. But, most of the time was spent to get to know him and him to know me and spend some time asking him some questions about UNC and their football schemes." Rolland, who was first-team All-Ivy League this past season, will graduate from Harvard in May. The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder has two years of eligibility remaining. He originally committed to transfer to Penn State but retracted that commitment two weeks ago.
wow, any smoke on what the underlying reason is there? guy is the primary target on a passing offense and putting up numbers.
idk don just mentioned it “there are rumors and they’re not just typical blowing smoke”. pretty wild to just in passing mention that on a livestream
