wonder how hot Hubert’s seat would be if dawson quitting doesn’t force him to play brady and if trez doesn’t hit one of his 4 career 3’s to start OT vs baylor last year was such a fluke in spite of hubert and this roster’s best efforts to stop it
I think the biggest indictment on the coaches is the absolute lack of progression that Caleb made over his time here. He is the same player doing the same rhinos he’s always in.

I actually don’t think it makes any sense to decline the bid from a program perspective. Still hope they do.
I hate the NIT as much as the next guy, but declining the invitation would be just what you would expect from this bunch of soft and entitled underachievers. Change the narrative, play the game(s) and have fun. Now there is no pressure and nothing to lose.
yup but considering there isn’t really a player i would be heartbroken to lose, you tell them show up or find somewhere else to play. really speaks to the deeper culture issues

didn’t realize until last night that the entire team and even some of the staff wanted to skip in 2010 and roy told them absolutely not. and it ended up being a beneficial experience especially for henson playing the 4. that’s what an actual leader does. hubert cares more about being buddies with this same group that ran roy outta town than being their coach
mixed feelings about him leaving. super high highs and some really low lows. best for both parties for him to move in. credit to him tho i am pretty sure he’s definitely one of the guys who voted to play. for his many flaws, he clearly was one of the guys who still cared

I’ve seen this sentiment going around on twitter from UNC fans. Thank these kids & what they’ve done for Carolina Blue!!! What a crock of shit. At no point do I feel bad for any players anymore for getting blasted on social media. When you start getting paid thousands or even millions, on top of a full scholarship and can transfer freely, the kid thing drops. You are a man. Give me a break, welcome to the world of free agency of college athletics. Can’t have it both ways. Players want to be employees and get paid like professionals, well you are going to be judged on performance.
