he somehow has one of the 3 best assist/turnover ratios in program history. it makes no sense and i feel like it is an elaborate troll from our stats department
this offense is the bastard child of 2010 that team couldn’t do anything except go down low. this team can’t do anything but shoot it’s rough to watch
jalek’s lack of development mixed with seventh’s injury is killing us. joel playing way too many minutes
i think cam should start over theo we need his offense and letting him run the bench can only help with jalek’s development
low key joel stinks this year. he’s pressing and constantly forcing things and completely out of position
There's just no rhythm right now. Defense isn't competing like they were and we aren't getting any run outs, so we're stuck with what's become a stagnant half court offense. Just keep winning ugly I guess, I expect they'll have things clicking again by February, per usual.
makes losing wilson and finishing a distant 2nd for hollifield hurt even more no worries we got a few app state and georgia southern flips ready to step in
So @FSU tonight and @UVA Saturday Looking like a fun week for a team struggling to find their offensive groove
the bonzie injury helps us for the trip next week to ND. win that and BC and we're fine i will be thrilled with 2-2 over the next four
I keep waiting for us to not look like we're just going through the motions defensively, guess tonight's not the night. Even Kenny looks like he's succumbed to the crap.
also please tell me you all got that food chopper infomercial "ooo me so hungry" as he makes an Asian concoction
Been officially announced that all of Kenan, outside of the student section, is getting the blue chairs this year, reducing capacity to ~51k. Sounds good to me. Also that FSU WR decommit is "kind of leaning towards UNC" as he heads into his final visits
i have made the executive decision to drive 3.5hrs to chapel hill for the clemson game next week and drive home that night bc i hate myself
may go to the game in littlejohn too just bc the haters and losers (of which there are many) are saying i won't
Football cruitin happenings: Spoiler We’re just days away from UNC’s final substantial recruiting weekend of the 2018 cycle. Fresh off the Dead Period, the Heels will host an official visit weekend featuring most of its remaining targets. * The UNC staff spent much of the Dead Period evaluating and contacting running backs who did not sign in December, particularly those verbally committed to Power 5 programs. While some reciprocated interest, the staff concluded that it would only take a third running back (to enhance the haul of Devon Lawrence and Javonte Williams) if it were either Anthony Grant, Mychale Salahuddin, and Kavosiey Smoke. Earlier this month, Salahuddin narrowed his focus to UNC, Pittsburgh, Southern Cal, and Syracuse. The four-star, who officially visited UNC and Southern Cal during the season, has official trips scheduled with Syracuse (Jan. 19) and Pitt (Jan. 26) in the coming weeks. Considering his connections to the school, Syracuse appears to be UNC’s most daunting opposition: teammate, Ed Hendrix, and former teammate, Juan Wallace, signed with the Orange in December, while close friend, Nykeim Johnson, is a freshman receiver. UNC has finally worked out official visit plans with Anthony Grant and Kavosiey Smoke. Both will take part in the Heels’ mega official visit weekend on Jan. 12. Many believe Virginia Tech, where he officially visited just before the Dead Period, is Grant’s eventual landing spot. However, Kentucky is just as big of a threat, because of his comfort with those around the program. Tennessee, the school he has yet to publicly de-commit from, also continues to hang around. Smoke is among the most enigmatic recruits in this class. That’s primarily because he successfully evades the media like its a linebacker in open space. Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina are among UNC’s likely opponents in this recruiting battle. If/when it offers, in-state Auburn probably becomes the favorite since it lost Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway early to the NFL. Smoke already has an official trip to the Plains scheduled for Jan. 26. * It looks like Antoine Green will determine whether UNC takes a third wide receiver (to go along with Jordyn Adams and Dyami Brown). Amid a hectic official visit schedule -- which started with Florida State before the Dead Period, continues with UNC this weekend, and concludes with Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee -- the Heels have moved into the leadership spot. UNC had and continues to communicate with Warren Thompson. But, it appears unlikely the Heels will be much of a player for the four-star because of his academic situation. * Among its offensive line targets, the staff continues to feel best about William Barnes, Joshua Ezeudu, and Ed Montilus. All three are scheduled to officially visit Chapel Hill this weekend. Moreover, Ezeudu, who has previously taken an official to Virginia, should be on commitment watch; he and his parents are enamored with UNC’s academic program and a visit could seal the deal. On the other hand, teammates Barnes and Montilus are nearly a month away from making their declaration. They plan to announce their college choices -- which likely will be the same school -- during a Signing Day ceremony at Apopka High. Prior to that announcement, Barnes will at least officially visit Auburn on Feb. 2. He’s also considering trips to Florida, Florida State, and Georgia. Sandwiched between this weekend's visit and his announcement, Montilus is scheduled to officially visit Ole Miss (Jan. 19), Miami (Jan. 26), and Auburn (Feb. 2). If the linemates are indeed a package deal, Auburn clearly poses the greatest threat to knock UNC off. Nicholas Petit-Frere didn’t mention UNC during interviews conducted at the Under Armour All-American Game. That doesn’t necessarily mean the Heels have been eliminated. Perhaps better than any other recruit, Petit-Frere keeps his thoughts to himself. Thus, in interviews he's only going to mention schools he's specifically asked about. While the staff doesn’t feel great about its chances, communication with Petit-Frere remains constant. UNC is taking a baby-step approach: focusing exclusively on securing one of his three remaining official visit slots (he officially visited Michigan and Notre Dame during the season). Petit-Frere won't even reveal to UNC (much less the public) which school's he's considering for his final official visits. UNC has politely dropped out of the race for Florida commit Richard Gouriage. * UNC would like to add one more D-lineman to this class. At the present time, the staff is only actively recruiting Jamarcus Chatman and Rick Sandidge. Like at running back, following the December Signing Period the staff scoured for prospects to expand its D-line board to no avail. Unlike RB, the staff will keep the door open at DL. Chatman has his next four weekends booked with official visits: UNC followed by Florida State, Michigan State, and Florida. The Gators and Heels head into that consequential four-week span with an edge, according to Chatman. While Sandidge is commonly perceived as a lock for South Carolina, the UNC staff isn’t receiving that vibe from Sandidge or his parents. In fact, the staff believes it’s in the best position with the four-star that it has ever been. Just prior to Christmas, he named Georgia, UNC, and South Carolina his final three. Starting with UGa this weekend, he’ll officially visit all three before deciding on Signing Day. He’s the lone recruit scheduled to officially visit UNC on Jan. 19. * Dax Hollifield’s recruitment remains status quo -- he’s focused on UNC, Stanford, Virginia Tech, and maybe Clemson, and will take his final official visit this weekend when he returns to Palo Alto. Meanwhile, both the Heels and Tigers are attempting to squeeze in an unofficial visit before he decides (UNC is using basketball tickets as bait). After Hollifield returns from Stanford, UNC will determine the strategically best day to bring Larry Fedora in for an in-home visit. Ideally, Fedora will come in as close to Hollifield’s decision day as possible. And it won’t just be Fedora in the house -- every assistant coach who is remotely involved in this recruitment will accompany him. In the meantime, Gunter Brewer and others will continue to visit the Hollifield household on a weekly basis. look at IC trying to sucker me in with a late potential recruiting splash, luckily I have become unsuckerable, I think
